@fbdani:
She was kidding right? Camille is the last person she would consider when it comes down to listening to heavy metal music. They were both very alike personality wise, they liked the same things and Camille is even more delicate than she is ( which again, isn’t quite shocking seeing how loud Dani can be sometimes - definitely doesn’t fall under the category of being prim and proper, cross it off. ) All Dani could think to do was blink at the words that were directed at her.
She must be out of her mind! Dani furrowed her brows while tipping her head to the side, her jaw dropped at the mere thought of Camille jamming out to heavy metal music. The only metal she could take is Baby Metal, and even then, it’s still way too heavy metal for her. She liked happy things, things that sound very flattering to the ears and things that could soothe her soul whenever she is going through a difficult time.
Not long after she had snapped out of the trance of imagining Camille jamming out to heavy metal, she covered her mouth and gasped loudly, a hand placed over her chest where her heart would be before dropping her hand from her mouth.
“Seriously? I swear you’re the last person who I’d think of saying that! Yo– You’re not drunk, are you?” Eyes still widened, she held up three fingers in front of the girl’s face and waved them around a little. “How many fingers do you see? Or… do you even see fingers ?!?”
each wonderlander had their own oddity. it was practically a living requirement, needed for survival, in order to retain some semblance of sanity. while camille seemed the sanest, she had her own little quirks too -- hidden away most of the time, unreachable to the masses unless asked about (and people rarely asked camille). finding out all these little things about the white queen’s daughter always brought out the most amusing reactions out of people, and camille couldn’t help but laugh, immediately turning it into a small giggle behind her hand.
“no, no, i’m not drunk,” she replies, trying her hardest not to laugh even more than she already had. she had to be demure, graceful camille marmoreal, after all. “you’re holding up three fingers, honey.”
reaching out to pat the girl’s shoulder, she stifled yet another laugh, having to bite on her lower lip lightly to do so. now, dani didn’t ask, but since they were on the topic of music, camille found herself smiling more than usual, and whispered in a conspiratorial tone: “i can rap, too. wanna hear? i’ve been practicing my -- ah -- swag and everything!” she takes her hand away and clasps both palms softly, fingers intertwining with each other, excited to show her friend such a hidden skill. “swag. yolo! i know these words too, you know!”
