Rafael has many, many different hugs. We’ve seen his comforting hug, with his Mamí and Liv—the hugs where he wraps around their shoulders, letting them hide their face in this shoulder while he rubs their back.
He has happy hugs; the ones where he wins a rough conviction or when him or his partner do something well (like a promotion or something). Those hugs, his arms go under their’s, around their midsection, and they spin, laughing and kissing (if it’s with his partner. If it’s not, then it’s just a spin and a huff of laughter).
He has scared hugs, hugs where he awakes from a nightmare or him (or his partner) were in a life or death situation. It’s a lot like his comforting hugs, except he’s the one burying his face, taking deep breaths of their scent, trying to ground himself in their embrace.
In a normal day, he is fond of side hugs; hugs where one arm snakes around their shoulder and he pulls them close before giving a squeeze. Sometimes, he unconsciously gives a cheek kiss, too. But these are the most common, especially at work.
At home, if you count cuddles, then he’ll have an arm around them on the couch, pulling them against his side/chest. His hand strokes their arm absentmindedly, and he enjoys the closeness. If they’re cooking, then he’ll hug them from behind, resting his chin on their shoulder, watching and sneaking kisses.
And finally, the aroused hug. He has his arms around their waist, fingers playing with the waistband of their pants/underwear. If in a mood, then his hands may trail down, gripping their ass as he kisses them—their lips, their jaw, their neck. Every now and again, he’ll wrap around them from behind, assaulting their neck with open mouthed kisses, his hands exploring their front before dipping between their legs.
