aloysius is like a little brother to camille. both his parents are good friends with the white queen, and are thus held in high regard at court. to camille, they’re practically extended family, if anything. she also loves having tea with the hatter and his family. additionally, camille has a natural tendency to take care of people more than she takes care of herself, no matter who the person is, and this shows through her concern for him whenever he gets in trouble -- intentional or otherwise.

Headcanon meme; Always accepting!

Aloysius is very special to Clover. She’s had plenty of crushes growing up but none of them compare to the tall mad hatter that she’s fallen for. Between their after club fun and hanging out in the library “studying”, Clover has seen the many sides of Aloy and she can say that she loves all of them. She just hopes that one day she’ll get to call him her boyfriend.

camille was too tall for her age. 

at fourteen, she felt too small in her own skin, uncomfortable and awkward and not in the very least confident about the pretty new dresses that she’d previously admired before. suddenly, everything fit (except a part of her was missing, left in the red kingdom, and entirely out of reach), and the only thing that didn’t was her. being out of place in wonderland was -- to say the least -- absolutely mad.

so when she spent time with aloysius and he hit his head on something or another, camille (for a few precious seconds) thought that everything was suddenly normal again, before quickly being overwhelmed by concern.

“oh, dear,” she muttered (though a princess must never mutter), and held his face in her hands, as gently as she remembered her mother would when she began sporting her own bruises from all that fighting. and she kisses his forehead, and lets her lips linger, and hopes that it’ll ease the pain away. she smiles at him, too, reassuring as ever. “better not let all the wonder in your pretty head escape, right?”

To put it simple, Marci feels bad. He knows that Aloysius isn’t his biggest fan and at times Marci is only a mere annoyance to him, so he feels bad. 

He doesn’t cry when he’s sad and he doesn’t cry when he should most of the time (No, Marci likes to bottle it up until it overflows and he’s left sobbing alone in a classroom over a broken pen or a notebook page that didn’t rip out just perfectly.) 

However, there is only ever one other time that Marci actually tears up and sniffles a bit and that’s when his pure frustration and anger get the best of him. It’s not often because Marci only gets angry in a blue moon, but it’s right now with his painting knocked over and a smear of jarring black paint right over the pretty river landscape. 

And that’s why he feels bad, because he burst out the art room unable to even stand to look at the result of his hard work ruined by his clumsiness and it was an accident that he ran into the other, but Marci wasted no time in latching on. 

An hour or so later, he still feels bad because it’s almost as if he’s holding Aloysius here against his will (he probably is.) and he’s finally done sniffling into his arm and whimpering about he’s going to have to start all over. 

“Sorry for crying all over you.” He mumbles, wiping at his eyes with the heel of his hand. “I know you don’t like me all that much. Sorry.” With an apologetic little peck to the taller’s cheek, Marci pushes himself up and attempt to smooth out the wrinkles in his clothes and scrub off some of the tear stains from his cheeks. 

“I’m really sorry…”

It was yet another late evening after astronomy club and the two were cuddled up on the couch, not paying attention to the homework they were supposed to be doing. Aloysius’ long arms were wrapped around Clover’s tiny frame as he buried his face into her hair. 

“You’re softer than the bed,” he murmured softly, causing the witch to turn red. He was always saying something to tease and fluster her, this being no exception. 

“Well, I’m glad I can be comfortable for you,” She laughs, letting her back fall against his chest.

Her sister wanted her to meet the boyfriend in her life. Star was a little apprehensive at first, her baby sister dating was still a shock to her. But after multiple times of Clover insisting she agreed.

So said boyfriend and the witch sat on a bench and just talked. The time flew as she learned more and more about the other. And she could say that she enjoyed their little talk. The other stated he was hungry. And she agreed to the statement herself.

A smile appeared on her face knowing exactly where to go. “Hey let’s go to this little place in town I know. They have the best food.”

Rufious could see from the corner of his eye the other male struggling. however he couldn’t tell what the other was struggling with until he got closer to him. Aloysius seemed to be trying to scratch his back but failing miserably and it was getting to the point Ru was finding his struggle somewhat amusing. 

thinking it would be better to help him out, he clears his throat before he speaks up, “do you want me to scratch your back for you? would that help?”

his words are slightly sarcastic and in honesty he though that this would make the situation even funnier especially if someone were to see the two of them and get the wrong idea - although that might backfire of Ru’s behalf. as the other gives him a nod he gently scratches his fingers around his back in circular motions in a sort of massage way before he slowly digs his fingernails more into his back.

Oh how she loves flowers! If there’s someone that could make the flowers grow with their smile, it would either be her mother or Persephone (being that she is the goddess of underworld and life and spring! flowers! That’s all she knew) Despite not wanting to ramble on too much, she couldn’t help but laugh- also to notice how tall the man was. Why was the only comparison that came into her head ‘beanstalk’? Either way, Dani shook her head in order to zap out of the trance of random thoughts that she would find herself dwelling with oftentimes.

“Actually, apart from my mom, I’ve never met anyone that has a smile that looks like it could make flowers grow... but...” With a soft snicker, she held up her pointer finger, gesturing for the boy to wait for a second as she turned her back around in order to dig her hands into her little purse that she would keep by her side all the time. And there she was, pulling out a small mirror that she finds completely compulsory to have at all times! You never know when you need to look presentable and when you need to not look like such a mess. 

The mere thought of the words that had been processed prior in her head caused her to laugh. Sitting down straight on her seat, she held up a mirror at him and smiled. “This... is a mirror! I mean, obviously you need to know that. It’s not rocket science or anything.” Facing the mirror to herself, she smiled brightly into her reflection and cleared her throat. 

“FOUND HER! Okay, so to answer your question. The person whose smile looks like it could make flowers grow is in my mirror right now. It’s me, myself and I.” And so she bursted out laughing like a child playing on the playground, too hyper for her own good. Heaving a sigh in order to stop herself from the laughter, she smoothed out her dark hair and pressed her lips together. “I’m kidding, but you’ve got a very charming smile though!”
