🖤 Grim/Shel oh ho ho ho

forceful kiss~

The first time Grimstone and Sheldrake kissed, it'd been hungry, demanding; their beaks smashed together hard enough for each of them to bleed from the nostrils. Grimstone hadn't notice at first; Sheldrake didn't mind. They kissed as if this would be their last--and Hell, maybe it would be--but then Grimstone tasted that bitter metallic flavor and reluctantly withdrew.

He touched his beak, fingers bringing away a spot of blood. He felt some trickle warmly from his nostrils. Blinking, Grimstone glanced up; Sheldrake was chuckling, smiling his slightly bloodied teeth. The paladin wiped at his nostril, smearing the blood down his top bill.

Grimstone blinked again, and then he was chortling with Sheldrake. "What are we? Some sorta super horny thirteen year old kids sneakin' out past curfew?" Sheldrake laughed, sitting back. He licked his teeth clean.

"I don't know what overcame me, to be honest," Grimstone said, clearing his penny-flavored throat.

Sheldrake cocked a brow in disbelief. "I think you do," he said, slowly drawing up a gloved finger, stopping to flick at one of the jacket button's over Grimstone's stomach. "You're hungry."

Grimstone grumbled. "I wasn't going to eat you."

"Sure you weren't? Not like you haven't bared your belly teeth to me before."

"That was… different."

"Nnn, was it?"

"Just drop it," Grimstone scowled, turning his glower away.

Sheldrake smirked. He leaned forward, hooking a finger under Grimstone's bottom bill. He guided his beak back until they were eye to eye again. "Yeah," Sheldrake sighed, thumb tracing blood from Grimstone's nostril, into Grimstone's pliant, obedient open beak. "I like the taste," he sneered, and kissed the half-duck again, lapping up that last bit of blood.

The last time Grimstone and Sheldrake kissed, it'd been hungry but compassionate, demanding but loving, and not at all forceful. A kiss between old lovers.

Grimstone hadn't noticed it, not at first, but then he could taste something… fetid. Repulsive. Almost like rotten eggs or sewage. He gagged and choked, recoiling as he grabbed at his beak. Grimstone heaved and spit in his hands, at his feet, staring in horror at the black muck dripping from his fingers.

"Sorry," Sheldrake said.

Grimstone's eyes widened; he looked up at Sheldrake.

The duck sat quietly adjacent from Grimstone. That same black-green ooze and oil dribbling from his lips; the strands were syrupy thick and slowly hanging down to his waist. The foul slime coated his bared chest feathers. Prickling the corners of his eyes were dark beads that stained his sclera black.

Those open spiraling portals belching up more of the noxious fluids.

"Sorry about it not being blood, I mean," Sheldrake smirked. He grabbed at his stomach and jerked forward, vomiting slime across the floor; Grimstone jumped and rolled back, but his feet were coated in the muck. Sheldrake finished with a hard cough a minute later, clearing his throat; sat up and Grimstone could see his face and beak streaked from thinner strands seeping out his eyes and nostrils.

"Well," Sheldrake sighed, studying his dripping black hand, "all good things come to an end eventually."

DAY 3: YOUR OCS’ DESIGN DETAILS

OVERLORD KAGE GANDER

Because Kage is a Negaduck clone, he stylized his clothing after Negaduck’s, but much more ratty and “punk”-like. Mostly, it’s just torn sleeves and holes with black gloves. That style wouldn’t change, even as an adult. This certainly does not help his identity issues lmao. The eye patch is due to him missing an eye, which was taken when Negaduck attempted to kill this little clone shit. As Negaduck took Kage’s eye, he also cracked his beak. Kage was electrocuted when his gestation fluids mixed with torn and exposed circuitry, giving him a white streak in his head plumage.

ROUENNA MACAWBER-DUCK

Rouenna likes wearing cute things, and adores long sleeves. Her colors match her father’s outfit, which bugs her mom to no end. Rouenna, as a child, originally only had one “ponytail”, but it split into two as she got older. Her hairstyle is meant to look like impish horns and tails; the color of her hair and her eyes matches her mom’s. Rouenna has a crack in her beak because she’s a wild chaotic mess who loves causing trouble. I also channeled the sukeban look for her design, too.

SILVIA ST. EAL aka HEX WREX

I... love black and green. And long coats. And I gave her pigtails, fingerless gloves... so... And fangs! I love fangs! She also has one red eye, and one eye that suffers from ptosis, i.e. her upper eyelid muscles are weak, so that eye is always lidded. She’s basically just stylized after things I love.

Darkwing Duck OC Month: Day 2

DAY 2: YOUR OCS’ BACKSTORIES

SILIVIA ST. EAL aka HEX WREX

AGE: 38

GENDER: Female

Silvia St. Eal has a relatively simple backstory. Nothing about her life growing up was extraordinary, except she really loved chemistry, magic, and collecting poisonous plants and venomous creatures. She’s very smart, socially well-adjusted, and doesn’t stick out too much. Silvia moved to St. Canard in her mid-30s and became a chemist. Despite everything, Silvia is just an evil little gremlin woman who wants to spread discord and take whatever her heart desires. Using her magic and knowledge of poisons, Silvia adopted the villainous persona of Hex Wrex. Hex Wrex loves toying with the citizens of St. Canard and experimenting on them with her magic and new poisonous creations. She’s become quite a pain in Darkwing’s feathered ass. Hex Wrex has a casual romantic relationship with Negaduck; nothing too serious, but just what they need. I imagine her voice to be similar to Sarah Stiles’s Spinel. Her name is a play off the silver teal duck and “steal”.

ROUENNA MACAWBER-DUCK

AGE: 15

GENDER: FEMALE

Rouenna was born out of a very passionate, hate-fueled, brief tryst between Negaduck and Nega!Morgana Macawber. Although they cannot stand one another, they’re both very fond of Rouenna, and legitimately love her. Seems a bit odd for Negaduck, but it’s MY FANTASY WORLD, SO SHHH. Rouenna spends equal time between her mom and mom’s family, and with Negaduck and his “family”, i.e. Launchpad and Nega!Gosalyn. Rouenna has magical powers like Morgana, and the lust for violence like her dad. However, she is exceedingly stupid, just utterly empty-headed. Nothing but chaos behind those dead eyes. Nonetheless, Rouenna is playful and more open-minded with people than her parents, happy to play with their enemies even. She adores Nega!Gosalyn and sees her as a big sister. Rouenna’s hobbies include beating things up, destruction, playing often dangerous games, adventures, and Japanese street fashion. (Rouenna’s name comes from the rouen duck.)

Annnnnd saving Kage for last, since he has the longest backstory.

OVERLORD KAGE GANDER aka THE SUPERIOR NEGADUCK

AGE: 8 (he gestated fast; had Negaduck not intervened, he would have been adult aged within a month)

GENDER: MALE

NEGA!SHUSH, a villainous organization, cloned Negaduck with funding from Nega!Scrooge, intending to replace the original Negaduck. Negaduck 2.0 would be controlled by Scrooge, however, in secret, by proxy allowing him to control St. Canard. Unfortunately (?), the real Negaduck heard about this plan, broke into the lab, and intended to kill the imposter clone, currently aged 8 (and only within a few weeks of creation). The clone fought back, but Negaduck shut him down by gouging out his eye and cracking his beak. The clone also suffered electrocution from his gestation juices hitting torn circuits, resulting in a permanent white streak in his head plumage. 

The clone would survive, however, programmed with the desire to take down the inferior Negaduck. He trained hard, living in a junkyard, before he met Faustina; the two hit it off, becoming good friends. Faustina introduced him to her parents, Grimstone Gander and Magica De Spell, and though it took some winning over like a feral stray cat, they eventually adopted him. Faustina gave him the name Kage--although it’s based on the Japanese word for “shadow”, it’s pronounced like “cage”. Kage insisted on the Overlord.

Kage would find his place in his new family, while still being a pain in the ass and training to one day kill Negaduck. The family is friends with Negaduck, which pisses him the fuck off, and Negaduck’s daughter, Rouenna, has a tendency to hang out with the Gander/De Spell household. He... will deal with her in the future, though.

Faustina is @toonqueen​‘s FC, and Grimstone Gander is Nega!Gladstone Gander. As you can imagine, her mom is Negaverse Magica.
