couple oc boards for my friend @nezu3kun's dnd pcs. i wanna make more in the future... they just are a pain to put together and so damn tedious lmao. these are old and were made on my pc at home, so don't have credits weh.

first one: ezekiel, paladin aasimar (he's a homebrew or third party oath i forgor name); canonically outside the campaign this is from, he's an oathbreaker reborn

second one: viktor, great old ones warlock human

kpop demon hunters sequel where the villain is a former hunter who became both disenfranchised protecting humans when there is so much cruelty and prejudice running rampant, and also consumed by her own ego that humans should actually um worship them as gods for all they sacrifice and do for them? leading to a falling out with her trio, and a big battle that sees her banished to the underworld.

she becomes a demon--but not by gwi-ma's doing, no. her own rage and pride turn her into a gumiho. when she was a hunter, her weapons of choice were summoning spirit animals (think shikigami) and her two favorite were twin bulgasari. when their master was banished, like loyal hounds they joined her in the underworld and also underwent some corruption. this also is fun flavor for why she becomes a fox spirit.

returns to the human world influencing the minds of the people to believe she was an old famous star now leaving retirement after many years and she's ready to get back into the action. instead of singing, she's a kdrama actress. foray into the world of acting for the girls as well.

her goal can be collecting souls--she only has seven tails, whereas once you get nine, oh baby watch out. so the girls need to stop her before she reaches UNLIMITED POWERRRRRR. now alternatively, she could also be collecting souls--not livers, to keep it more lighthearted i guess--to become human again, so she can finally age and pass on, making her humanity easier to reach in the final battle.

i'm just sayin' you could also have the spirits of the gumiho's two hunter friends appear behind the girls and it gives her moment's pause at how concerned and guilty they look.

the girls can have the chance to redeem her, too, and the bulgasari can befriend the magpie and tiger in the end. to humans, the bulgasari appear as jindo dogs who are CONSTANTLY trying to eat any set equipment and items made of metal.

bonus if she releases a special soju called fox spirit that is SUPER strong. cause you know. human livers and all lmao. if she can't eat them, she can destroy them!

kpdh brainrot colliding with my dnd brainrot, i've been on and off debating running a dnd campaign using the kpdh universe with some tweaks and whatnot. i've got a few people interested in playing, but i'm not sure i'll do it.

the ideas i have are under the cut. i am open for any suggestions, too!

PLOT: the campaign takes place in the future with a new trio of hunters/singers. As part of the new honmoon and creed, the ladies can get more direct support from allies besides the love and respect of their fans, therefore the weight doesn't fall entirely on their shoulders. A new threat comes in the form of an old ally-turned-enemy: one of the first hunters who became corrupted, turned on her partners, and was subsequently erased from their history.

Although I've not named her yet, I'll use Nari as a placeholder. This former hunter was active during the Joseon period, if not close to the rise of the Korean Empire around 1905. After performing and fighting for many years, Nari became disenfranchised with humanity--taking in the account of the treatment of women, internal and external conflicts in society/the outside world, etc. It's the classic case of the hero falling to their ego, desiring slavish worship from the people they protect, combined with heroes who succumb to the darker/more tragic sides of their dangerous, self-sacrificing roles, questioning if anything they do is even worth it.

Eventually, Nari turned on her sisters; defeated, she was banished to the underworld. Gwi-ma attempted to get his hooks in her, but her own hunter powers and grudges/rage transformed her into an extremely powerful being. Not even a typical demon, really. A gumiho.

Still, considerably weakened, the newborn gumiho spent many years in the underworld building a following of her own. Nari herself could not leave due to the honmoon, but she could use some of her powers to open a small, temporary tear to allow weaker demons/gumiho to travel through. But this can also just... never be addressed as it's not important lol.

When the old honmoon was destroyed, Nari was able to leave the underworld. I've not decided what she's been doing in the time between the new honmoon forming and the rise of the next generation of hunters, which would be within 10-15 years.

I wanted Nari to appear on the scene as an older artist stepping out of retirement, with Nari using her magic to influence people into thinking she'd once been a popular singer in, say, the 1990s or so. I also considered the idea Nari would appear as an actress (same concept, different business), and somehow involve the new hunters in the world of Kdrama so it's something a bit new.

Since I want this to be a short campaign, I figured I'd keep it simple in that the hunters (and their support) would have to go through a couple mini-bosses before getting to Nari--a dungeon crawl that takes place through the floors of a major multimedia conglomerate building lol. I want the mini-bosses to be other creatures from Korean folklore/legends and stereotypes of Kdrama characters. I kinda like the idea of using old actors returning to their roles in the same vein as Nari, especially if it means pulling in older fans. Or something else entirely. I'm thinking of maybe two or three before Nari as to grind and level up; one would definitely be the jangsanbeom and another perhaps a dokkaebi.

No epic tale or anything, just a fun, silly short campaign. There is the possibility of convincing Nari to return to the good side, to release her anger and ascend, oooor you can just kill her. I'm taking a page from BG:DIA, where you can persuade the BBEG to change her ways... if the party wants to, that is.

Lots of reskinning and homebrewing lol.

SUPPORTS: so, I prefer a minimum of 4 players and max of 6. However, 3 players need to be the hunters themselves. To make room, I created the concept of support hunters that take on dual roles such as manager, leader of the official fanclub, etc. One potential player even asked if they could be the lead fashion/costume designer. Ideally, I'd prefer these supporting characters take on support classes or subclasses (focusing on buffing, debuffing, crowd control, healing, etc; if they want to be a wizard, school of abjuration, for example), but I'm already kiiind of restricting a lot. Also, these support roles can be any gender they desire.

HUNTERS: the three hunters must identify as women/feminine. One idea is each build must have a few levels of bard in them. I like the concept of each being a form of paladin/bard, and have considered that the three hunters must be paladin/bards, but I'd like to give them some freedom of class choice outside a few levels of bard.

RACES AND CLASSES: I want support/non-bandmates to be human, whereas for the the hunters themselves to be variant human. I'm thinking of allowing half demons like Rumi using tiefling stats with the ability to shapeshift/appear as human at will. When their disguise drops, though, I'm debating allowing typical tiefling aspects like horns and tail, or just the demonic features as seen on Rumi and the Saja Boys.

However, I am open to the possibility that support members can just be redeemed demons, therefore using the tiefling stats. I like the idea that unlike half demon hunters, to maintain a human facade, they need to be concentrating. Breaking concentration reverts them to their demonic forms, which I'll freely allow to appear as reapers or more monstrous variations.

All classes would be acceptable, just adapted to fit in the KPDH world and with some flavoring.

There's probably people out there who'd tell me there are other ttrpgs I could use that make running this type of universe easier than the high fantasy races/classes/etc of DnD... but I only know the DnD 5e system and I'm not going to learn a whole new one, especially if it's only for one short silly campaign. I'm already needing to do a lot of work as is lol.
