Looking after him
Months ago i made a short analysis on how interesting a relationship between Ice and Wood from Fully Charged could have been. An as we're not likely to get a season two, here it goes. It started with @ineedmydowntime 's OC Ice Breaker (also known as Miss Ice), a mother for fc Ice. Still fanonly, she also fought alongside fc Wood during the Hard Age and they developed a strong relationship when they met again... Which kinda made Wood unconsciously adopting Ice. XD
But it's another factor that drew my attention: Ice's and Wood's respective flaws are somehow complementary. Ice easily misinterprets figurative sentences, taking everything too literally. And since he tends to take direct action instead of giving it a second thought, his decisions can make him look gullible, while Wood acts more incredulous to what you tell him, even doubting your intentions, turning paranoid at some points. Lately, i noticed something pretty obvious : Ice is a neutral robot master. Sure he's made a mess in Silicon City more than once, but most of the time it was well-intended, and one time he had a corrupting device "thanks" to Sergeant Breaker Night. Besides you don't see Ice in the Gauntlet episodes, with the Let's destroy the Lighthouse team. This could mean that, despite his wrongdoings, Ice has goodwill and intends to fight his own flaws, which he proved in the intro of episode 30 Chill Out, Bruh. Oh, and last but not least, Ice looks and sounds young, while Wood is said to have battled during an old war. Tell me that ain't a kid/grandpa stuff here. XD So yeah, it could have been funny to see an episode of Ice taking lessons or two on "How to NOT act immediately" just like Wood needs more lessons on "How to not overthink a situation"... let's just hope Ice won't turn Ruben into an iceberg during some sparring sessions.
‘had to line these fast cause Father’s day is behind us.
@ineedmydowntime Sgt. Breaker Night trying to corrupt Ice again when Wood’s not around, by playing with words i suppose.
@ineedmydowntime, you made me realize something yesterday : Wood is actually the parent Ice needed all along.
