hi!! Just wanted to pop by after see in your tumblr handle in your notes on a03. I spent an entire morning reading your fic (FCAF)! I had soo many things to be doing, important adult things, but I absolutely could not put it down it was so so good. It maybe sabotaged my day but in the best possible way, so thank you! The last chapter wrecked me and I got so scared when I saw it was posted in 2021, thought for a heart wrenching moment it was abandoned and came here frantically to check! And am soo relieved that it is life that is creating a little pause in the story (and beautiful things like houses and husbands and babies). Love that for you! Just want you to know your story is still finding and delighting people! I am now joining the list of people who will be happily and patiently waiting to dive back into it whenever you’re ready! Xoxo

but i am delighted that it delighted you. thank you so much for taking the time to come tell me!! i miss my little story and occasionally work on it still but it's a lot with a new baby, i'm still figuring out how to be his mom and also a person besides that. i'm getting there and so is fcac, definitely not abandoned!

Is Football, Calculus, and Cappuccinos close to finished? or at least stops at an acceptable point? I don't want to spoil it for myself but i also don't want my heart broken by getting super invested in a fic that hasn't been updated in a year and a half

Oh my god, I understand you and the dilemma but also you probably asked the wrong person because I will never dissuade anyone from reading that fic despite all the facts you just stated. It's kind of like my feelings for Commentarius.

All I can say is that Moona is a very good friend of mine and the fic is certainly not abandoned. Writer's block can be super hard sometimes but I promise, it's so so SO worth the read even if she doesn't finish it.

thinking about how i started writing football, calculus and cappuccinos during the last world cup a whole 4 years ago and now we're at another world cup??? the amount of life we've all endured in that time... like time and life is truly wild. anyways i have this crazy idea that i want to finish fcac up in a world cup year just like i started writing it in a world cup year so.... send me good productive energy y'all i'm trying to write 5 chapters by the end of december 💀

hi!! no fic update but i got married this week so there's a life update for you 🥹 i watched jungkook's mv at 3 am after my mehndi and lost my mind, considered cancelling my wedding cause i wanted him so bad. i loved it!!! thank you for checking in! my life has been crazy as hell but i still don't consider fcac abandoned i swear its still on my mind and i still plan to finish it (hopefully) soon

Just got this comment on fcac and y'all I got a bit choked up at my desk. This kind of thing is SO nice to read and I'm so blown away that anyone would care enough to take the time to write it. Was kinda struggling to write the last few days but this revived my motivation so quick. All that to say, if you appreciate a fandom content creator please tell them. hello bonjour thank u for writing fcac! what a heartwarming story! and im so glad as a gooner to have stumbled across it this season and not seasons past :p as a newcomer to the jilyverse i am continually blown away by the creativity and wholesomeness of the writers in this fandom, and fcac is now one of the foremost reasons why. now excuse me while i binge the rest of ur writing <3

Moona I can't even WATCH Chelsea these days without thinking about how fcac!James would single handedly have scored more goals in the month of Feb. than the entire team did. Meanwhile Arsenal bringing on academy kid Reiss Nelson to score the winner over Bournemouth today was filled with fcac!James energy. fcac!James would be sick
