   charles has to choose his words carefully here -- jean-phillipe is unique among the many mutants && near-mutants that charles has met in his many years.  and there’s always a level of discomfort, seeing someone who’s body you recently possessed.  at least, it’s uncomfortable now.  charles hasn’t had the experience often enough to make any generalizations.  “ i’m glad t see you’re back.  how are you feeling ?? ”

Evan was happy to hear that JP had indeed made it back safe. He knew it was silly to worry about him, he was much more than capable of taking care of himself but Evan couldn’t just turn it off. 

When Evan knocked and JP opened the door,  Evan raised a hand and waved enthusiastically. “Hey pops!” He grins and hugs him tightly for a moment before he steps in. “Did you bring me something fun?” He teases. “How was France? Spain? I forgot where you were, I’m sorry.” He says sheepishly. “I thought maybe we could order chinese I am sure you’re tired from traveling and -- what were you doing exactly?”
