bright curious eyes, watched him as he spoke as much as she knew how she should feel towards the man, there was intrigue and admiration shown in her eyes when the man was in her presence. it was hard to dislike and distance yourself from someone when you had a bond as strong as theirs. while she had started out, pushing him out of her mind; finding a moments quiet, it was too draining on her to continue doing it. especially when she had an image to maintain. his speech, his beliefs are what still unnerved her, no matter how comfortable she got around him.

her words didn’t mirror the way she should be behaving. there was a certain mindset that she was expected to stay within. dark thoughts about proceeded to follow every command of the first order. looking at him under her lashes, she set her jaw, unmoving on her stance. surely Kylo knew by now that she would be loyal, but she wouldn’t be completely breakable. she hoped that she’d never lose sight of the light in the world, even when she felt the deep tug of the dark from within her.
