He sighs as he stands by the bed, his feet tapping the floor frantically as someone who’s in a rush — and he is. Thanatos has so much work to do, so many souls to collect, and yet he has to stay there and watch over a dog. The dog. But orders are orders and he has to follow them, even more when they come straight from Hades himself.

But when he sees Cerberus finally opening his eyes and moving his head, even with a bit of difficulty, the Death forces a smile on his lips. “Oh, you’re finally awake! I’m here to take your soul, Cerby. You didn’t make it this time.” He lies.

👀 -Hades and Cerby (the most wholesome one)

i hc that when cerby was a puppy, he started out the actual size of a puppy (v v small), but with the power of the big demon he is - like that fucking baby from the Incredibles. for the first years, hades p much raised him alone bc he was a selfish bastard and didn’t want anyone else’s help. 

there was a moment in the past when hades was so angry and out of control, that he hurt cerberus. the flames never quelled so fast. i don’t think hades ever forgot the way cerberus whimpered, looking genuinely scared of him. it was the first time it had ever happened, and hades promised him it wouldn’t happen again, that he wouldn’t scare him like that. i have no idea if he’s kept that promise.

he hides vegetables in cerby’s food.

“Why are we even doing this, Sias.” Apollo asks with a frown on his forehead, he stares at the prophet with an expression that screams annoyance — even though the man can’t see it. They’ve been sitting in front of the fireplace for hours now, with cookies and a glass of milk on the coffee table that Tiresias insists that they can’t eat because it’s for Santa Claus.

Who the fuck is Santa Claus?!, Apollo asks himself. He wants to eat the cookies.

“You know nobody’s gonna come through the chimney.” The sun god says and sighs, getting up from his seat on the floor to grab himself a glass of ambrosia and wine for his friend. “Drink some of this, and hopefully you’ll get drunk and sleepy and I can go back home.”

I’m so happy you joined me for decorating! It’s always so much more fun with someone around!” Minthe exclaimed happily as she dragged out the box of Christmas decorations. “And you’re staying for dinner right??” She questioned with a grin. “I’m making steak! Or if you don’t like that anything else you want.” Minthe enjoyed cooking quite a lot and having someone to share with that she didn’t entertain was nice. Not that she’d had many over lately, but she just needed friends lately and Cerberus was a perfect fit for what she needed. 

“What do you want to start with? We can do the tree or we can decorate around the house? I have garlands and window stickers… I have little cute scenes to set up.” One of which included a pair of mice skating across a lake as music played. Minthe didn’t have a large house but she had a fair few little spaces to place decorations- and she loved changing them up and moving things around. For as sexual and anything but a housewife she seemed… Minthe actually enjoyed many things that would make her perfect for someone who wanted that. Cooking, decorating, she loved the simple things of a house. She loved making people happy. There was nothing better int he world to her than making someone smile.
