A little silver sphere that looks suspiciously as though it’s from some sort of stick or lever rolls against his boot and he looks first at it in confusion… and then to the one somewhat unsteadily toddling toward him.

Kneeling, he picks up the little sphere and offers it to the child.

“Did you drop this? Here you are.”

“Now what have we here?” she questions, more to herself than to the tiny being before her.

She kneels then, still hopelessly towering over the child despite her own diminutive height.

“… How did you get here, little one? And have you someone searching for you?”

After all, surely one this young isn’t without a guardian. And certainly not when the young one is so strong in the Force and should be protected.

“You’re li’l li’e me!” the toddler exclaims in evident delight, clapping her hands before resting her chin on them.

“Wan’ be f’ends?”
