"How did you and Kagome meet?" -Shippo / @fcxled / world building
oh, that one’s easy! she’s on vacation to japan --- alone, this time, which is strange enough. whenever she’s going on an extended vacation, she drags her friends along, but they were all busy --- ching is helping chang run the dojo, garu is doing something with investments that she can’t hope to understand, and abyo has a thousand photoshoots scheduled. she’s been here before, of course; the tourist traps, while beautiful, had lost interest to her. while wandering the streets, pucca ended up somewhere in a miniature, terrible fast food chain, judging the options and wondering how desperate she was.
kagome was there, seeming to deeply enjoy the sugar water before her. pucca doesn’t remember exactly how it happened, but they decided within seconds that they were friends. pucca ended up in kagome’s house the next day, giggling with kagome over the smallest things.
how well do tourist, fast food, and soda translate to this time? how much do they know, or are allowed to know? she can’t imagine knowing about coca cola would somehow CHANGE the course of the past, but until she knows how kagome deals with it, pucca would much rather keep her details sparse. “ i was visiting, ” she hums, a smile curling her lips. children and their vibrant curiosity always make her feel a bit warm inside. “ and she decided to show me around her town! i probably looked REALLY lost . . . ”
