The day had gone by rather typically, with a joke here or there, the occasional prank, and a little flirting in between. Leave it to Jay to make a small walk productive in his own way. By other standards, it was precisely the opposite of anything positively constructive but he wasn't the kind of person destined to create anything of value and how he judged his own worth became evident in such actions— if one cared to examine Havoc closely enough.
But they didn't.
So he continued on as always. Showcasing the accuracy of his moniker and effectively causing others to believe it. The name itself often called for judgment, both given and received.
However, the energy manipulator was far from allowing judgment to go unanswered, especially given his adapted nature since arriving at the Institute. Although he had been more than m.i.a. the past few weeks, missing new additions to the school left and right, they weren't to slip by him this time and, just his luck, he happened to accidentally bump into someone as he was greeting a professor walking the opposite direction (if he was going inside the school or simply away from Jay, he couldn't tell).
"Oh, damn. My bad, girl. I didn't mean to do tha— Shit— Is that spilled paint?"
