— league of confusion
was this some sort of joke?
school definitely required survival skills, but not in the literal sense like this. normally, yuji would be head over heels for some sort of action, but this was in a whole different league — she wasn't the only one who she had to fend for. the annoyance from before began to rise up again and this time, it was for a valid reason. kids were screaming from all corners of the school and they were so desperately trying to get themselves into a safe location so whatever those things outside couldn't find them.
annoying.
"fuck off." her eyes narrowed as she walked down the hallway, clearly agitated that she was being pushed around by a wave of kids who believed that it was a good idea to hide underneath the desk or something. but it didn't take her long before a surge of panic began to bubble up inside her — where was her brother? myungjae? ilhoon? she cursed under her breath, more aware of the situation she was now in. if anything, she wasn't afraid of the said monsters that were going on a rampage outside — she was more worried about the people that actually mattered in her life at that moment. "get out of my way--" she bellowed, pushing her panic stricken classmates out of her way so that she could move forward, "-- before i kill you instead!"
that's when her eyes caught the word etched against her wrist and it didn't take a dumbass to put two and two together from what the (useless) teacher had said and the assignment from before. but before she could put her power into use, her eyes caught a familiar figure — one that was too tall for his own good — within the crowd and instantly gravitated toward him.
"oh, i'm sorry, do you want to get killed?" simultaneously, yuji grabbed woobin's wrist and pulled him down the stairs so that he wasn't in anyone's way. he might be tall, but he was going to get run over regardless. "your word. what's your word?"
