┌You and I┘[ Yooara + Junsu ]
In a blink of an eye, I’ll be an adult I hope you recognize me, I hope you remember me Yes that strange child I really like your image that shines in between my hands
Beautiful. One of the only things that made the male almost feel more than comfortable here was the sunshine that always seemed to pour over the courtyard. It was a reminder that even in such a dark world, where mutants were outcasted, there was someone out there that was on his side. No, Junsu wasn’t religious though his family had grown up that way. He really didn’t believe in anything but, people were here. Science was more on his side and though he wanted to believe in God, things had proven in his life that there wasn’t exactly someone up there looking out for the creations he had made. Humans, mutants; they were evolved from the same DNA. But it appeared that some had forgotten that, on both sides of the spectrum. A vast amount of humans hated mutants but there were some mutants that shared a mutual hatred for mankind. Evil begets evil.
Wrinkling his nose some, the male rolled his neck with slim digits pressed against the back. Physically, he was okay. There wasn’t anything spectacular in his physicality. His mind, his abilities; they were pretty sharp, more so than the normal, but when it came to his endurance or hand to hand combat he was lacking. If he was ever to go on a field mission and he wasn’t able to help anyone, it would make him regret his actions. One thing he had learned being alone at such a young age; never hold yourself back and he tended to do that often. Fear of being rejected, fear of isolation; it was normal emotions for humans, all humans, to feel and it often plagued the older male.
Kids of all ages were here and sometimes, he felt like he was so much older than his classmates. It wasn’t too terrible but there wasn’t anyone he could go with and have drinks with. But this was a school, and while many students in public schools were learning, well boring things, most of the students here were talented individuals even if they weren’t gifted and it was sad that some of these teenagers parents were unaware of such gifts. Such wonderful children, tossed aside as if they carried the plague of some sort. But people were blinded.
Taking a deep breath, he begun to move forward to continue his cardio exercise before seeing one of the instructors leading a new group of kids around. It was pretty normal sight and he offered a gentle flash of a smile to the few that looked his way before shuffling his pocket, unaware of the keys that escaped. Headphones moving back inside of his ears, he turned on his heel, unaware of the loss of his keys, the male licked his lips some.
Time to get some work done… Being the age of twenty five and having such a body, not his favorite thing. Not that he was over weight but if he saw one more seventeen year old with a better body than him, he wasn't sure how much more his self confidence could take. Growing up with older brothers, that were quite popular, and him being somewhat...nerdy, in a sense, he hadn't been able to gather his appearance together under after he had left home and a few other people helped him get his shit together, per say. Cut his hair, style, shave, all the stuff his father should have shown him, he had to learn quickly on his own.
