”There is always a winning side, and a losing side,” he answers with a shrug. Even before his powers surfaced, Hansol has never been the righteous one or the troublesome one. He was the one that was left out of everything- perhaps in the beginning he had just fallen out of the ranks in social hierarchy, but later it was by choice. It was just that he was just so…average. Average appearance, average intelligence, average everything. The only thing that he wasn’t average about was his height, and even that was slightly below average. Something he isn’t even proud of.
“The point is, maybe I just can’t do anything - I’m one of the ones with powers that don’t matter and can’t do anything.” He started to feel the long-lost agitation rise in him, and quickly squashes it with a deep sigh. “Maybe I’m on the sidelines not because I want to, but because I have nowhere else to belong.”
