“If it tingles it’s working,” Fabian said as he applied more exfoliator to his face. “That’s what they usually say right? I don’t know.” He enjoyed times like this with his friends. Unconventional hangouts made the best memories in his opinion.

Fabian wasn’t the kind for going on blind dates, but as his friends said, it wasn’t much different than dating someone online. They’re strangers too. So Fabian took the plunge. He got ready with his best duds and made sure she was clean shaven, haircut and all. They said her name was Alice and tried to imagine what she was like in his head. What she’d look like, what she’d be like. He tried to not get too excited, but Fabian was a hopeless romantic at heart. Being pansexual, he relied on his chemistry with people to really guide his attraction to them. God, he hoped they had chemistry.
“Here goes nothing.”
The tall male said to himself as he made sure he had his wallet and keys before leaving his apartment. he had to make sure that if anything went wrong it was because Alice wasn’t feeling him personally and not because he was late or didn’t have his wallet or anything exterior like that. Driving, Fabian was in a good mood, turning up Stacy’s mom and laughing to himself. To be fair anything could make him laugh a little—he felt giddy, but what a song.
Parking the car, Fabian once again made sure he had everything before stepping into the restaurant they agreed upon, checking with the hostess to be seated for their reservation. There he waited with anxiety to meet his date. Every time the door opened he was attentive to it. It was still a little early, but he couldn’t help himself. Fabian blamed the nerves.
