“If it tingles it’s working,” Fabian said as he applied more exfoliator to his face. “That’s what they usually say right? I don’t know.” He enjoyed times like this with his friends. Unconventional hangouts made the best memories in his opinion.

“I have been dreaming of this meal all day. I went on my long run this morning and I haven’t been able to stop eating since.”
Rowan kept her head down in the crowded coffee shop, making quick work of the espresso she’d ordered. A book splayed out in front of her, pretending to catch all her attention so she wouldn’t have to look up and make uncomfortable eye contact with people she may or may not know. She felt the person sitting across from her as much as she saw them out of her peripheral vision, but she didn’t bother to look up still. “I think you’ve got the wrong table, buddy.”
Like any other Friday night, there were only 2 options for J: get caught doing nothing, or get caught in a bottle at some bar down town. He opted for the first, inviting over a handful of friends to rewatch Star Wars and have a few beers -- a very casual night. However, that all changed when the door bell rang again and all of the guests looked around at each other. Everyone had arrived, and the movie was about to start. “Did anyone invite anyone else?” He questioned, gesturing towards the door as everyone else denied having asked someone else to come.
Shrugging it off, he moved towards the door and opened it, revealing another person he didn’t expect to be here. “I’m sorry, why are you here?” He asked, brown eyes darting behind the and noting that there was no one else, so maybe they just liked Star Wars and somehow got wind. “Whatever,” he chuckled out, moving to the side and letting them in. It was only one person, and it couldn’t hurt.
At least, not until the door bell rang again, and everyone looked confused again once more, someone had even moved over to the couch and was peering out the window to spy. “There’s a few people,” they insisted, but James thought this was weird enough as is and in no normal circumstance would things get any weirder. “You’re fucking kidding me,” he replied, trying to keep his cool but still very clearly caught off guard, especially once he opened the door and saw more people outside. They insisted that there was a party at this address, which J denied but decided to let them in anyway. With nearly 10 people in his house, he didn’t know what to do once the door bell rang again, so he just opened it and let people in.
“Am I too nice?” He asked whoever could hear him. “You can be honest, I think I’m too nice.” He looked around his now filled house, regretting every wanting to have people over because it had clearly gotten out of control. But, hey, at least he had beer. “This is the most people that have ever been in my house at one time,” J admitted, finally looking to the person and making eye contact. “Wow, I didn’t even realise it was you.”
Jacqueline’s former roommate was hosting her bridal shower this weekend, and requested that her bridesmaids wear the wedding color of blush pink. The difficulty was that most of the dresses in that shade were bridesmaid dresses themselves, not casual enough for a daytime bridal shower. She was getting desperate at this point, holding a dress in one hand and a romper in the other. Jacqueline liked both of them and was unsure which one she wanted to go with, but she needed to make a decision because Kayla’s shower was less than 24 hours away. “I need a quick opinion: dress or romper?” she asked the person next to her.

George: I'm sooooo sorry about the drunk texting last night
“So am I the only chef that’s boring because I didn’t come up with a witty name for Easter dishes?”, they complained as they flipped through a random magazine at the grocery store. “I’m trying to keep church and food separate and make all my customers happy, I have great sense of humor”.
Feeling lighter, Genevieve grabbed a drink and decided to enjoy the night. She looked beside her and smiled at the person standing there. “Don’t you love things like this? People coming together, and letting go?” Her voice was small, but she was every bit excited.
