(In my third playthrough of Awakening, I married pretty much everyone off to each other, including Chrom with Olivia. In the end, my tactician Florence never really married. He was alone, and I always imagined he had feelings for Chrom, but he never said anything, and Chrom never returned them.

He’s happy for his friends. He really is. He offered up his life to save the world of Grima for them. He was never supposed to come back)
