OH MY GOD SWITCH FE HYPE. ahem. I;m guessing we are playing as the marth lookalike but apparently Edelgarde is our aprentice and thus probably the main character. It's supporting Avatar syndrome all over again. You know while we all have problems with how Corrin's story was executed, i like that Corrin as an Avatar is the main character not playing 2nd fiddle. i kinda don't like how when we make avatars we are then reduced to support or basically cheerleaders to the main guy.

I DEARLY hope green-haired dude isn’t an Avatar but he probably is. Sigh, maybe we’ll get lucky and he’ll die in the prologue? Or be removed from the story? I actually think ‘supporting Avatar’ like Kris and Mark are way better than Corrin’s ‘Lord Avatar’ or Robin’s ‘Deutoragonist-who-takes-over’ Avatar, since the nature of an Avatar means they have to stay blank and static through the story and that makes very boring main characters. But basically while I trust IntSys on a lot of things, I don’t trust their ability to write ‘main Avatars’.

On the one hand, I’m a bit bummed that we’ve still got no news on FE Switch and will probably be forced to wait until E3 2018 for news.  On the other hand, I that means I can continue working on all my speculation posts related for FE Switch.
