It's done folks
I should have been posting updates for this as they happened, but things just kept overlapping and I'd forget to take a picture, and then I'd want to keep sewing-
So I didn't. But it's all okay, because today you get to see the finished product! That's right
The Fear Jacket is done!

There will be more detailed image descriptions that describe on each design at the bottom of the post.
I have been working on this coat for two years, though there was a six mouth period when the pandemic started that I took a break. I'm gonna be honest, the coincidences between the patterns and real life events back then kinda freaked me out. Thankfully the break gave me the space I needed to get over it. And I've finished it now!
Now that this is done, as well as my wizard coat, I'm working on knitting the autumnal cloak. That one promises to be a long project as well, what with the sheer number of colors to work through.
However, I'm going to take commissions from friends for things now, to break up the monotony. Scale mail vests and gloves, yarn wigs, smaller embroidery projects. Maybe if I gain enough confidence, I'll open up commissions to the general public
[Image description: the first photo is of the front of an embroidered jean jacket. The sleeve cuffs are covered with a yellow fractal pattern, and the shoulders have black suns on them. The left breast has a solid honeycomb pattern on it with a grey worm in one of the combs, and the right breast has a gradient of light blue to dark blue with a falling stick figure. The lower right side has ribs embroidered on with meat showing in between the bones. On the opposite side from the ribs there is dirt embroidered to appear to be falling from the pocket. On the front of this pocket there is a figure in a red circus ringmaster's coat peering from a seam. Opposite this figure is an elaborate fire pattern. There are two visible tiny skulls on the coat.
The second photo is of the jean jacket from the back. There are eight eyes across the shoulders, with a large spider's web across the back below them. On either side on the bottom edge are clouds of mist. Above the mist on the left side there is a knife and a bone-colored flute crossing each other. In the same position on the right there is an open mouth lined with fangs. There are three tiny visible skulls on the coat.
