after an entire stack of 64 writers blocks, we’ve finished our fic for the @mcytblrholidayexchange! written for Lyric (@fearforthestorm), with additional help from Fluffy (@fluffy-papaya) and Zain (@redstone-sun) and clocking in at a cool ~4750 words, it’s a story about two very cool Dominion SMP members (see tags) except they’re pirates :D

heel turn 2 my beloved. embarassingly it was on a doctor/master 8tracks playlist but you know what, none of us are free from cringe. after that it was probably the typical run of no children > up the wolves > this year

hard tie between clean slate and sudden oak death (i know we here on tumblr all love mcb but this is SUCH an underrated gem in the wider community, it deserves more love). also keep getting mosquito repellent stuck in my head

📱 - favorite album from the 2020s?

this is tough!! assuming we're excluding jordan lake (all of which have some incredible versions on them) it's probably jenny from thebes. i liked getting into knives a lot when it first came out, but i tend to pick and chose tracks when i'm listening to it now as opposed to sticking it on the whole way through. maybe the shine is gonna come off jft but i really do think it's the best they've been in years

!!! thank u for the ask!!! i thought i was going to go with all songs that make me unwell about my original story for this but um i remembered the recognition scene and that's my answer. for this ask. i know the lyrics are mostly "i'm gonna miss you when you're gone" but there's just something in the way he sings it that wrecks my shop.

it's in a playlist i made of songs that really got to me this year. because moving from alaska to [current city] is one of the most amazing best things i've ever done but it also meant leaving without one of the most important people in my life and i miss him like a body part gone from me! it's so fucked up not to live under the same roof! recognition scene songs of my last month before moving!

Yes i would LOVE to omg

A while back I wrote some snippets about nonbinary!Sophie and they absolutely live in my head rent free. Sophie, who's never felt like they fit in anywhere, realizing the gender binary is another place they don't fit in- and instead of being discouraged, begins to realize that its the world that's wrong, and that they can build a place for themself and others like them. And their friends love and support them unconditionally and they get all the good things.

My longest-standing is trans guy Bronte, which I fully stand by always. I love him so much you have no idea. He's old and he's crabby and almost everyone who knew his old name is now gone- and he's still standing. He's still here. Also Fintan has some sorta gender shit going on idk what but its There. I think some flavor of GNC and maybe also nonbinary but i dont think he Minds being called a guy. He'd probably like the label genderqueer. Also he never misgenders people because he may be a villain but he has STANDARDS, okay?

Transfem!Oralie is something that's very important to me I adore her. She and Bronte talk about trans things and bake together. She's less open about it than he is but they both understand that they're in different places in their journey and support each other.

Oh and genderfluid Forkle/Leto. He loves fucking around w/ gender and gender presentation, i think.

question about the potential big bang event: would you be allowed to use an already existing AU as the setting for a big bang piece? in my specific case, i have an au that I've been working on worldbuilding/concepts for for a little while, but the only thing I've actually written for it is a prologue oneshot, would i be able to use that au for the big bang?

We'd ask that you bring in new WIPs for the big bang, but you'd be able to work within an existing universe, as long as your work can stand alone. You wouldn't want to hand your artist a whole reading list of stuff that has to be read before they can understand your current WIP, but if it's just something you've been noodling on for a while, go for it!
