Undying Death

Death is that thing which brings us all each day From a glass coffin to one of pure wood Always we struggle to live as we should Instead of helping, like asses we bray Hoping, dreaming, that death would go away Ignoring those things where we could do good Forgetting each day more of our childhood And instead cent'ring our lives around pay Yet death doesn't care for what it does seek Are but minor insignificant ends It awaits us all, plotting each small fall And relishing each awful sordid shriek And yet and yet all our lives it transcends Undying, it is both nothing and all
