‘‘I’ll call you later, love.’‘She says softly to a beautiful sleeping Winter Anderson, pecking her lips softly, making the other girl stir in her sleep. She brushed her hair and quietly left the girl’s room, hoping not to disturb Winter’s brother,Kai,who she had only met a few times before but didn’t really know him as well as she knew Winter. She’d been seeing Winter for a few months, though she’d know her for years, they were high school friends,Callie was a few years younger and still in school while Winter graduated a few years back.
She snuck down the hallway, tip toeing without any boots on,her hair a frazzled mess,a few hickey’s on her neck and no make-up on. She hoped quietly that Kai wouldn’t catch her sneaking out of the Anderson home, something she’d been keen on doing. She didn’t really like Kai,he was too into politics and was a little off beat, something wasn’t right with him and it made her uneasy. Though Winter was into politics as well, she didn’t pressure Callie into getting into it though she did support her girlfriend’s interest in it,something Callie wanted no part of.
She hears the TV on,something about the next election being between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton being the next presidential candidates. She saw a head of blonde hair, always a mess, and rolled her eyes, knowing it was Kai fucking Anderson.
She hears him move away from the couch and in a scary amount of time he’s in front of her, arms crossed over his chest with a questioning expression, but there’s clear amusement on his face, that stupid smirk showing. He’s purposley blocking her escape, the front door right behind him.
She groans obnoxiously loud, and glares up at him since he is much taller than herself,’‘Can you please get the hell out of the way? I have to get to get ready for school.’‘She spat out,not meaning to sound so hostile but this guy irked her patience,he got under her skin and she didn’t know why.
