#FearlessInHeels | Day 9 | #Firefly • TRUST. ME. I am but a little larvae🐛. Because this is but a still shot of me as I am - in motion - s l i d i n g down my arms with a bum-to-the-floor dismount!💥 I just don't have the ab strength to pull this off. And @simplemuffin's beautiful seated variation - sadly, I just couldn't swing it. So, here I am. A little larvae🐛. #FearlessInHeels | Day 8 | #AlbatrossPose • #RealTalk... this was H A R D! As evidence of the expression on my face😶 Dude! Arm balances post-op have been 💀... just Whoa! But all I can do is • be where I am • in the recovery process; and enjoy it in footie sweatpants! Not heels, but counts as footwear, no?!?😁🤗💕💕💕 • Sidenote: I LIVED in these after surgery and they’re amazing! #FearlessInHeels | Day 7 | #CrowPose 21 weeks Post-ACL Surgery, today! • I have been trying here and there post-op to no avail so this is my first successful arm balance attempts in FOREVER! But who cares about that because I got kicked off my mat by these two cutie pies! • Side Crow for me... my knee still doesn’t like the knee on the tricep for standard Crow and a little #BabyBakasana action from the little. #FearlessInHeels | Day 6 | #DancerPose • I have both of my girls with me today🤗, which is always awesome and usually a comical experience... like the banter and groans getting in and out of poses (scroll), graceful falls out of poses caught in camera, photobombers and curious bystanders. Also awesome is being able to compare a pose from the last time we all did it together (...scroll again to see our Dancers from 2/25/2017)! • There was no way heels were happening for me in this pose so the girls joined me closer to the ground. But Progress Note... even with injury and not doing this pose often (though it’s one of my faves), I was able to use my Infinity Strap to walk my hands in closer to my foot, allowing for more Chest Opening within the posture. #FearlessInHeels | Day 5 | #SkaterPose • Owww-weeeee does this hit that quad/hip flexor! ACL knee is the straight leg. When I bent down, that knee pretty much told me it was going to be the one extended out and not bearing the squat. I have to say, to be able to HOLD my leg out like that... PT🙌🏾! Those weeks of hard work strengthened my quad/hip flexor to be able to pull this off. Amazing what our bodies are capable of. • Sidenote... anyone else LOVE how GREEN ✨💚✨everything is after the rain?!? #FearlessInHeels | Day 4 | #DancingShiva • Days away from my 42nd B’day and can’t tell me nothin’!🤣😂🤣LOL! 💃🏽#mayhavetobemybirthdaydance 🤣 What a fun pose! In all my time on my mat, I’ve never done it before so thank you lovely hostesses🙏🏾😘💕. I surely wasn’t doing this in stilettos Post-Op, so pulled out my [21-yo🙈] Tennis Ball #Airwalk sneaks🤗!
