Glancing down to find Pup worming his way under her arm nose first, Capable grinned softly and lifted it a bit to allow him to slip under it more easily. “What’re you up to?” she murmured, giving his small arm a slight squeeze while cuddling him nearer to her side. He shrugged, pressing his face to her side unabashedly while his bony fingers grasped onto her clothing.

Drawing her other hand over to stroke his small head, she held him near with a soft smile. She would never complain about visits from him, with reason aside from hugs, or no.

Capable couldn’t help chuckling at his nudges, managing to kiss his head after it bumped her chin, before it was gone and elsewhere. “That’s good that nothing broke,” including you she added internally, managing to catch a glimpse of his face.

Reminding herself it could’ve been MUCH worse, though feeling a small jump of worry in her stomach at mention of him falling off, she kept her arms around his squirming form as best she could. “Mm I see, I’m sure that takes a lot of practice though, I bet you did great for not having any,” she murmurs encouragingly with a soft smile while patting his small back.

The Pup seemed to be utterly fascinated with her hair, she supposed because all he was used to was shaved heads. Capable smiled softly while leaning her head into his small fingers some to let him mess with it. His fingers curled through the wavy locks, wrapping them about until his hand was a mass of red hair.

“Does it feel weird?”

“Not really, no.”

“I think ‘s weird… but the color’s shine.”

“I’m sure you will, I feel very safe,” Capable nodded with a soft smile, despite protective instinct nagging that she should tell him to be careful. He was a War Pup, after all, she was fairly sure he knew how to wield it just fine.

Leaning down, she pecked his pale head gently, then knelt some to look up into his small face. “Thank you, brave little one,” she murmured, reaching to take his hand and give it a light squeeze.
