HEIST. and i'm online again! i actually was online for awhile but lol, i was watching a show & i don't think i'll stick with it... BUT YEAH, ANYWAY. thanks crownofleavesandberries & fearocious for responding earlier! i saw your messages while i was driving but couldn't respond. crownofleavesandberries i didn't know you taught, too! that makes me so excite that i'm not the only one ahaha! and also, fearocious, i left after like 15-20 min and saw two of my students on the way out but they had other plans so weren't coming to class anyway. so... PFF it seems everyone is planning on coming tomorrow since i did announce is at mandatory throughout the week. at least i tried! now i can relax! i am mostly going to lurk and scarcely post replies that i have stocked up! my muse is being a lil' particular with replies right now so i apologize, i am hoping by the weekend, everyone's posts that have been sitting will be posted!

Desperate Measures || Elsa & Jack

                                      Lips parted, releasing a soft sigh as cerulean eyes fluttered shut                                       for only a moment.         Fire danced in the hearth, setting a warm                                       glow about her fair pallor,    though it did little to actually warm her                                       --not the she minded of course.   As her eyes opened once more,                                       they  wandered  towards  the  small  stack of papers on her desk,                                       finally         falling         on         one         specific         document.

                  Before another sigh could escape her, the sound of windows opening                   and winter howling came and went,         causing a flurry of excitement                   about the monarch that only came in rare situations, this being one of                   them.        She quickly stood from her chair and looked to the windows                   behind      her     desk     to     find     what     she     had     hoped     for.

                "Jack!" A smile curved on her lips with the sound of his name as she                 quickly  approached  and  wrapped   her   arms   around   his   broad                 shoulders.       "I was wondering how long you manage to stay away,"                 she teased as she held him tightly.    "So much has happened since                  you were last here."    she said as she pulled back, already missing                  the feeling of his arms around her small frame. It didn't take her long,                  however to notice the expression of excitement upon his features. He                  looked as if  he would  burst if  he didn't  tell her  something  right this                  moment. However, she had something,  likely far more important,  to                  tell him.

                                  "I've got something to tell you," she said with a gentle, yet obviously                                    less excited smile.

darker before the dawn

The nights were long in Elsa's mind. Though she'd returned to her castle and things were looking up there were doubts and fears that could not be contained with a simple act of true love. It was enough to thaw, perhaps, but Elsa still lacked control and she still struggled with the possibility of hurting people. 

Every night she seemed to dream of hurting someone - whether it was Anna or Kristoff or just one of her people. She was dangerous and her fears lingered just beneath the surface even when she knew they shouldn't. 

She couldn't bring them up to Anna, couldn't make the poor girl sit through all the horrible things that went on in her mind. And so it was the nights where Elsa felt the sting of bad dreams. 

The candle beside her bed was what she hoped would remain a beacon for good dreams. It was there as a counter to the cold of her own touch. The silken sheets shifted beneath her as she turned to face the window, watching the stars. 

Perhaps tonight would be different.
