Y - What are your secondhand fandoms (i.e., fandoms you aren’t in personally but are tangentially familiar with because your friends/people on your dash are in them)?
Ha so right now, Yuri on Ice is a big one. STAR WARS is also a big one though Rogue One has potentially ruined that for me, we’ll see how deep I am willing to dive. Gotham was also a big one but I’m almost caught up. I try to watch the things that are all over my dash because I wanna know, generally. Supergirl is on that list too. I would say Voltron and Overwatch but I literally have no idea what either of those are about, they’re just on my dash a lot.
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
God in which fandom? I guess my hardest and fastest headcanon is that in the series finale of Hannibal, Will was playing Hannibal the entire time. He was never going to go with him, he was always going to push him over the edge of that cliff. That was the plan from the beginning of the episode, that he would never be free of him so they both had to die. This headcanon is why I hesitate to talk to Fannibals about the finale, as much as I love ally’all. I will also die defending that Mr. Eames is genderqueer. A dream can always spot an unconvincing fake, and for Eames to be such a convicing forger of THE OPPOSITE GENDER he has to have a deep, physical understanding of being that other gender. You can’t learn that shit 100%, you have to have it intuitively. Mr. Eames is genderfluid af.
I’m sure I’ll think of more once this is done.
R - Which friendship/platonic relationship is your favorite in fandom?
The Doctor and his companions. 100% always. I do not ship the Doctor with any of his companions except Romana and Rory, because Romana is a Time Lady and Rory is actually mentally older than he is. I ADORE the pure, beautiful friendships he has with his companions, even if he is the worst and abandons them more often than not. He’s a coward but his friendship is so fucking good and so fucking pure. Also: Tommy Shepherd and Kate Bishop. As much as I DO ship them I find their friendship 10000% more important than any physical or romantic relationships they might have at any point. And it makes me SO angry that. Also Also: Grantaire and Joly’s friendship, because it is literally the friendship between me and one of my besties, and I genuinely believe that this friendship is incredibly important to Grantaire’s character. Grantaire is a deeply depressed alcoholic artist who is very very gay. It is historically relevant because historically emotionally unstable gay men would end up being best friends with their doctors, because they were the only people they could talk to. Joly is his best friend and his Doctor. Joly is also in his social class, as a similar sense of humor, and is generally unaffected by Grantaire’s endless ranting. Their friendship is so important. R isn’t Joly’s best friend but Joly is definitely R’s.
O - Choose a song at random. Which ship or character does it remind you of?
I put my ipod on random and it gave me Waterfalls by TLC. Which, hilariously, has a much stronger rl connection for me than a fandom one. BUT. This is a really good (Netflix) Defenders song. Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Matt Murdock, Danny Rand (even if we haven’t seen Danny yet).
K - What character has your favorite development arc/the best development arc?
I love a good development arc. My favorite though…I don’t know. Not to sound like a broken record but Rory Williams from Doctor Who has fantastic development and so does Amy tbh. Like their development TOGETHER is a shining light in a sea of garbage writing, baby plot aside. Agron’s development in Spartacus is really good, but it’s more subtle. I think though, out of all of my favorites the best character development arc has to be Arthur Pendragon on Merlin. He was so receptive to everything that was happening that he really developed for better or worse as a character. S1 Arthur is a child. S5 Arthur is a King (with so so much baggage). I love Arthur so much.

yo, i think gothamites can deal with like fear toxin in the water supply and like bombs shaped like penguins. it’s like they compartmentalize that. and like, they know it won’t escalate? but in national city and metropolis you know the villains of the week are from outer space. like, you can’t really deal with a meteor falling from the sky? or superman taking down your office building during a fight? like that of the meter for stuff a gothamite can’t handle. like shit, that’s too crazy. at least gotham nothing falls from the sky. sure like people get frozen but i’m sure there’s an arkham app to follow so you know which villain escaped.

Ah Fantastic, I’m a huge advocate of having a crown for every outfit and occasion! And for every cosplay, I have a Will one and a Hannibal one atm.

Nah fam happens all the time, especially with things like civil war. I had a similar thing with captain America 2. I wish I new why sooo many people can like something but I won’t think it’s that good, I’m yet to see civil war but i’m expecting to have the same feelings on it :)
Yeah I wish I knew too tbh I’m not that fond of Marvel rn with everything going on so I guess that kinda clouded my judgement? And I kinda see what people see in it but there’s like this big thing and I can’t get past it :/ But if you do see civil war, I’d love to hear what you thought of it!

ahh I’M JEALOUS! i have 0 tattoos, but i do WANT to get one. i’m just crazy indecisive about everything in my life? i can barely decide what i want for lunch, let alone what i want to get inked onto my body forever.
i have an idea of a tattoo that i’ve been thinking about for a while (about 8 months)? i think it’s a solid rule of thumb to want a tattoo for at least a year before actually getting it done. but i’d need to actually meet with an artist to work out what i’d want it to look like. i’m thinking something the sound and the fury related, and i like the idea of a pocket watch with honeysuckles around it.
Molly hall I have a weird question that is sorta very specific about your tweeting. How come you refer to yourself as blogger, 24 and blogger, 25 ???? i don't know why this is a thing my brain has decided to notice but you tweet 24 and 25 back and forth like one day you are 25 and the next 24. I am sorry my brain was picked up on this strange random detail.
the honest answer to this is that my birthday is next month so my brain has just decided i’m 25 now. i’m not. i’m 24. could i fix that typo?? i sure could. am i going to?? i’m sure not.
