grant is a sad man. can he really be called a man? yes, if you think about it. but he's essentially a child. he's in a bubble from before he was taken by garrett. the moment he went to military school the bubble began expanding and it didnt stop. he has a childlike mentality and garrett prayed on that. grant cares for skye but he cant really make the ADULT connection for it, you know. he knows he's doing wrong but garrett is like a father to him and you dont go against the father.
