Hiya!
I know I said I’d be back once the sun lets me off her hook. Unfortunately I kinda forgot about some sad anniversaries that follow the summertime and as it got colder, depression and grief threw a little surprise party. Not to mention that the times are just generally anxiety-inducing and uncertain.
SO.
Considering that I’m still struggling - and you might be, too - I thought I’d just....start sharing things I’m grateful for or happy about. Less talk about the horrors of the world, more goodness and smelling-of-metaphorical-roses, y’know?
I’ll start!
the leaves turning so many shades of yellow, orange and red
that certain crispness of the autumn air
the smell of cinnamon when I was baking earlier this week
my little boy is doing really well at the moment
curling up on the sofa under a blanket
the fact that I’ve never felt more comfortable with myself
