It's Soldier and Jamesy's system birthday! Soldier's because it's his source (March 10, 1917) and Jamesy's because it's the first time he ever fronted (March 10-13, 2018). Usually we don't make big deals about system birthdays (except Winnie's since it's on the same day as body's birthday), but the both of them have come so far in the 3 and 2 years they've been in our system, so we decided this year we would celebrate their accomplishments! --------- Soldier was an extremely aggressive and downright bully of a persecutor who tried to 'protect' by shoving away and degrading any and all things that would make us seem 'weird', even himself and his two counterparts. Now he is our most valuable primary protector who understands that it's wrong to hurt systemmates for being nothing more than who they are, himself included, and now has phenomenal communication with his two counterparts in his subsystem, let alone the rest of our system. He even got extremely emotional when Jamesy colored him a picture and wrote 'I LOVE YOU' on the back. He is so extremely grateful that none of us gave up on him. (Typing this out is starting to make us cry, thanks passive influence). Jamesy was horribly depressed and always so ashamed of being 4 because we've always felt guilty for acting our age, we always had to be mature of our age to avoid getting yelled at for acting like a child. Jamesy carried that with him and nearly constantly fell into a spiral of self hatred and anxiety that was impossible to break. He always felt like a curse because whenever he came out, bad things would happen, whether or not they were his fault (our ex really didn't help that, always treating him like a burden and saying that even reading his name stresses her out). Now he works so very hard to feel better and not feel ashamed about being a child and not caring what other judgmental people think, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind. He has learned to recognize when he begins to spiral and actively asks other systemmates to help him come back to stability (let alone he actually ACCEPTS HELP now). Jamesy, Soldier, and Winnie now all communicate so well and recognize themselves as a subsystem. ----- So yeah, happy birthday to our marvel subsystem boys, Soldier and Jamesy! 🎂🍰🍦 -Gunther💙 (with Soldier⚙ and Jamesy🍎)

Not to be Upset on Main but

Jamesy had a really bad emotional relapse last night and we really need some kind of method to help him understand that just because something goes wrong doesn't mean it's his fault Anyone got any advice on handling a traumatized 4 year old introject of the winter soldier? We don't know what to do anymore and nothings working and we cant handle hearing what he says about himself anymore
