Lust is the biggest gossip, he knows all the tea, and he's more than happy to spill the deets.
But also mom friends. Lust mother hens as well and stars help anyone who gets both of their attention at the same time.
I like to think they'd have tea every now and again and catch up and be chatty kathies. Lust is also a lot smarter than he lets on - he did the science thing too before he decided it wasn't for him/wasn't going anywhere. They get along great.

Lust is cool as a cucumber. There's almost nothing you can do to upset him, he has this very easygoing demeanor that is both disarming and lets him shrug off just about everything like water off a duck's back. No one but his brother has seen him genuinely angry.
But... just because he doesn't show it doesn't mean it isn't there. He's just as depressed as any other Sans, he's just good at burying it. Depression gets in the way of work, and other people need him to be strong for them. He's very used to being the one who hears out everyone's problems and offers pretty sound advice. He plays Everyone's Therapist and tends to mother hen, which... can result in some fairly firm henpecking if he feels like he needs to press an issue further.
He's a flirt, it's his usual go-to for interactions, but he can tell from the first word if it's going to be a problem or not. If it isn't received well, he drops it immediately and presents a more platonic, affable air. If he's received okay, he'll either ease into it or ease out of it, whatever the mood calls for. And if he's flirted with in return, that's a green light and he'll either initiate a game of chicken (he will win, don't play) or he'll go into it until one of two things happens:
a. other person backs off or gets uncomfortable, in which case he eases off
b. ...Things escalate.
Because everyone talks to him, he's a pretty reliable source of information in the UTMV. Everyone knows him. Sometimes he hangs out with the separate groups, but he claims no real affiliation. One of the very few people who has told Nightmare point blank that he's being stupid and stubborn about something.
On the surface, he continues his line of SW since... it's all he's known. Humans also pay handsomely for a monster lover, since it's a novelty, so he's... fairly well off. He has a few big-name, high-dollar clients he sees regularly. On top of his (insane) rates, he sometimes gets paid hush money. He's not likely to go blabbing, but... the extra insurance is nice, and he won't turn down a generous tip.
(He's also helped a couple of very insecure or shy first-timers for free, since he wants them to have a good experience. He's a big sweetie, really.)

Don't let his flirty demeanor fool you, though; he loves a good platonic cuddle and enjoys that kind of closeness without expectations. If you let him, he will fall asleep on you while watching a movie. He's a huge snugglebug.
