cars were overrated if you asked indy. sure, they were helpful but they weren’t any fun. leaving her car outside of the coffee shop, she laced up her roller skates on the curb before immediately starting for scout’s house, making sure to show off a little as she skated. once they got close to scout’s place, they skated in circles, hands cupped to their mouth to project their voice, “scout hendrix!” they called, “you have three minutes to get down here before i come upstairs and get you myself.” it wouldn’t be hard to hear her, the streets were pretty quiet.
