When you think you have wanderlust but really all you want to do is go home
A warning to my followers...
My blog is going to get a little bit more political that it has been in the past. I'm kind of frustrated that basic human rights and access to education are two things that people actively debate on? That equality amongst races, religions, sexes, or sexualities is something up for discussion? Or access to basic education? So there will be a little bit more of that because I'm kind of tired of being quiet about that nonsense.
I think we need to rewrite the rules of golf completely. Make a form of competitive golf that specifically calls for unmanicured spaces. I want to see a guy artfully navigate trees and tall grasses and have them be wild as hell to get that ball into its silly hole. Maybe the tee is two feet tall and you gotta bring a step ladder with you to hit it idk. No more manicured environmentally destructive spaces… just wild golf.
Hitting another point of asking “when does it get better” which is always a healthy sign.
As a person with a fascination on the line between horror and comedy, today I’ve learned that quiet horror sincerely makes me feel this deep anxious dread in the pit of my stomach. Backrooms, Skinamarink, and then analog horror like The Mandela Catalogue. I wonder what that says about what I learned to be afraid of in my upbringing. Can’t wait to explore more…
Thank gods between X and here I would write my heart out about my relationships because as I navigate my healing journey this historical record is immensely helpful.
Thanks past me for needing to publicly diary you’re the realest for that.
