Winged Cody is a stress preener, and not just preening his own wings Noooo Cody lures in unsuspecting vod who think he just being nice and caring and who doesn’t like having their wings preened and then boom you have become trapped! Also I’m imagining winged Fordo/Rex begging hands and knees with the widest puppy eyes for obi-wan to pleasepleaseplease preen their wings they’re so big and they can’t reach their own backs do you want them to crush their feathers???? And Cody… is just very very very aware and hyper vigilant about how long Obi-wan spends with him then anyone else and that alone makes him sleep easier(because he literally sets the schedules)

The Corrie’s I imagine pull the sad pigeon act around jedi who then suddenly must request the Coruscant guard to help them with something that requires so much flying and wing stretching time and all the stunt flying through the layers of the city, Bail Organa deadass shooing them out his office window like he’s releasing a bird stuck inside.

I love those fics where the troopers gave Obi-wan feathers and sew them into his robes and layers so he can flash the inside and display a pattern or the feathers like the troopers do their own wings!!
