I love watching birds and picking up on little behaviours. These tūturiwhatu at Tāwharanui were having baths in a stream coming down on to the beach, and once they were done they would scoot off a little way and then do a quick jump/flutter to shake the rest of the water off. After watching a few do the same thing, I could anticipate what this one would do, and capture the moment!
