I am not a field agent. Joseph's grip was a little too tight on the World News microphone that hung by his side. I haven't been a field agent for years. And yet there he was, somewhere far to west for his taste. Something about making the anchors look more human, putting them in more natural, real world situations. Funny, really- he felt most natural in the city. That was his real world.

He sighed and turned away from the van and the assistant producer sent with him- the boy couldn't be a day over 22- and towards the subject of the interview. He could see why the network picked this particular county; the deputy sheriff was young and pretty, perfect for television. Joseph took a step towards her, holding out his hand.

"Hi, nice to meet you. Joseph Clemont, World News." He smiled his best smile. He was here for a fluff piece about the rise of women in law enforcement. From experience, however, officers were always suspicious of media, no matter the subject matter. "We're about fifteen minutes to air. How are you feeling?"

Rosalinde must focus on only one subject at a time.

I believe this is something that has been taught to her, rather than her being unable to multitask at all. Any efforts she’s made towards trying to handle two or more tasks at the same time she’s been told off for.

As a Doctor (and just a profession person in general), it’s a general rule-of-thumb to remain impassive to comments that are less-than kind—even if they border on downright rude. And, for the most part, James has done well on that (thank you, Father of the Royal Navy and your upbringing) due to his nature as a whole. It’s usually fairly easy to brush aside common comments of “Are you sure you’re doing that correctly?” and “You look a little too young to be a Doctor. I don’t think I can trust that” and, his personal favorite, “I’ve seen this on a show, once. You’re not doing it right.”

There are days, however, that, given the wrong circumstances and a particular patient, try his own patience right down to a fine point. It just so happened that, on the day he was treating that particular woman, the conditions had been not-too mild.

"Dehydration; when the body doesn’t have enough water and/or fluids as it should, ranging from a low-scale threat to a level that requires hospitalization immediately." The look he shot upwards wasn’t so much a glare as an irritated glance—though, thankfully, that irritation was wiped away after a quick beat. His fingers skipped along the PICC line carefully as he secured it. "I didn’t go to Medical School just to wear a white coat, y’know."
