mirthfulcas’s edits are absolutely gorgeous. Each graphic is intelligently composed and is very layered with symbolism; there are so many elements that go into many of these works, I am often left inspired when going through Slywia’s spnedit tag…take a look at one of my favorite graphics from Sylwia :D :D 

inspiredcastiel does not only amazing edits and is a talented artist, but I learned recently that Vianny is also a musician! Last month, she held a 25 Days of Christmas event, playing 25 Christmas songs over 25 days on piano. Watching her play is absolutely mesmerizing and (fingers crossed) that we get the chance to see her perform more in the future!!! Here is a video of her playing my all-time favorite Christmas song <333 

androbeaurepaire has some of the most thought-provoking fanart I’ve ever seen. Andro’s sketches are breathtaking and every piece is vibrant and beautifully thought out. This was the very first art piece from Andro I came across and I’ve been left speechless ever since ^_^

the next morning, they sleep in late, and dean comes looking for them. when he finds them he just sort of stands there and watches them, smiling a little. his little brother is happy. his best friend is happy. they are so happy together. cas gives sam everything dean wants his brother to have- somebody who cares for his baby brother just as much as he does, but in a different way. somebody who sam can stay with by choice, rather than necessity. most importantly, cas understands and completely respects that sam is asexual- and since angels dont feel sexual attraction, they fit together like puzzle pieces meant for only each other (well, in the figurative way, anyway) dean is happy for them, happy for the happiness that the two most important people in his life have found

On the ride back (to the bunker or hotel or wherever they're staying) they don't really talk but it's not awkward at all, its just comfortable. there's some soft music playing on the radio and the sound of the car's engine but they don't talk. Sam drives with one hand because he's holding Cas' hand with the other, that one point of contact speaking more than a conversation ever could. When they get back, they snuggle up in bed together... except its the middle of summer and its still hot so they end up just kind of sprawled over each other, both too hot from each other's body heat but neither willing to move

Man, can we talk about sastiel then? Because I need to discuss the curve of Sam' hips as he lays out in open tresspassed field, summer days pressing their lazy heat onto him. Cas would notice that first, before he even takes his jacket off or joins Sam's lounging. My headcannon is an ace relationship, but that wouldn't stop Sam thinking about how damn beautiful Cas is, or for him to reach out, eyes closed, to lace their fingers for a connection amongst overly tall grass and the sound of insects.

Just the two of them alone in some big empty field, nobody around for miles. It’s the middle of summer and roasting hot so they’ve slowly shed down to their undershirts and they’re both a bit sweaty and Cas is just… staring, mesmerized, because wow Sam Winchester is very attractive and I have somehow ended up lucky enough to be with him. And Sam would be totally oblivious to Cas’ ogling until he asked why Cas was being so quiet and he responded with “because you are a truly beautiful person” and Sam can’t even think of a reply to that but to rest his head against Cas’ shoulder and smile because for the first time in a long time he’s completely at peace with himself and the world and everything is right. They spread out a blanket and lay down and watch as the afternoon turns to an amazing sunset, and they don’t talk but they don’t need to because their intertwined fingers and occasional exchanged smiles are all they need in that moment.

It would always seem so strange to Dean. Sometimes it was someone they’d met repeatedly but Sam is only scared the fourth, fifth time. Honestly he would think it is psychological. His kid brothers seen some shit after all. They all had.
