I was lucky enough to be featured in the book trailer for Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas, the third book in the bestselling Throne of Glass series. You can spot me around the 55 second mark as Celaena Sardothien, the main character of the series.

Another one of my tattoos made the Geeky Tattoos blog a month or so ago.
+2 Charisma.
My most recent and most awesome tattoo made it onto the Catsparella blog last week. Awesome.
A little blurb about me and one of my favorite outfits over at Plus magazine's blog.
Thanks so much for the attention, Plus Model magazine!
A very good friend of mine said something to me the last time we found time to hang out:
"We are lucky to have people in our lives who wouldn't let us be otherwise."
By that, she meant that we had people in both our lives who would never allow us to do anything but hold on tight to the dreams and aspirations that we have -- especially on days when we feel like folding into ourselves and shelving the things we love to do and would like to spend a lifetime devoting ourselves to.
It's a new year and I haven't had much to show these first few weeks, but I want to say thank you to those of you who reblog and pimp out my music; who take the time to share it because you like what you hear from me.
I consider myself very blessed to have people like you in my life; and those friends of mine who would all but sit on me until I stopped arguing, thank you for believing in me, perhaps more than I sometimes believe in myself.
But now about the link I've posted on this entry: Kate Evangelista texted me awhile back to let me know that she'd featured my song, "Coffee & Nonsense" on her website.
Kate is an up-and-coming author. Her books aren't out just yet, but I have it on good authority that we'll be seeing them out there possibly soon. In the meantime, she diligently maintains a blog where she posts chapters of her work, her thoughts and musings on writing, as well her journey into eventual publication; not to mention reviews of books she's read, movies she's gone out to the theatres to see, and music she enjoys.
I'm very happy to know that she enjoys my music, and that this enjoyment stretches into sharing these to her followers.
What I also am, is overwhelmed with the amount of positive feedback and encouragement from these said followers. And well, since flailing is out of the question -- I decided I wanted to post about it instead and share it with the lot of you. ♥
If you have the time, or are interested, please do visit Kate's blog over at http://www.kateevangelista.com. She is a wonderful person and a talented writer.
Oh, and did I mention that she was the one who told me that little statement up there? No? Well, now you know. :)
