Is Harry Styles Done with Acting?

According to our sources, it would seem so.  Harry Styles has rocked the silver screen for the past three years now, leaving us on the edge of our seats in Dunkirk, wiping our tears at Every Bunch of Roses, and leaving us in awe of his performance in The Tale of Magdalena Ross.  However, sources say that Styles’ latest movie, Basket Case, could be his final–that he actually appears in, at least.

An insider tells us, “Harry loved every bit of acting, but he has always been one to push himself.  When Warner Brothers approached him with the possibility of directing, he was quick to jump on it.”

That’s right, ladies and gentleman, rumors say that Mr. Styles will be directing a movie within the next year!

Back in the glory days of 1DFF, we had a section on our site to feature a new story every month in order to share our appreciation for some great stories and to bring light to some lesser known hidden gems. There was also a post on here announcing the feature. So, I want to start up Monthly Featured Stories again on this blog (as well as a couple of other fun things coming soon).

At the end of each month, I will open the nomination form for submissions, and from there I will choose a story that has been nominated and fits the criteria below to feature on this blog. 

In order to be featured, a story must:

Have been updated within the last month.

Have at least three chapters, unless it’s a oneshot. 

If you would like to nominate a story to be featured for our first new monthly feature (i.e. February’s Featured Story), please use this form.

June Featured Fics: Week #2

With the release of the monthly News Bulletin, there were 10 stories added to the Featured Stories list for June; including our Story of the Month winner from May, a recent head student fic, some of the stories from our FROGS top threes, and the winners of previous House Awards that have the longest titles!

May Featured Fics: Week #2

With the release of the monthly News Bulletin, there were 10 stories added to the Featured Stories list for May; including the winner and runner-up of our Fic Feud event, as well as this month’s Story of the Month winner, April’s Fic Night pick, a story from one of our recent Head Students, a Staff-pick, and a few stories from our FROGS Awards top threes.... Looking for a new Harry Potter Fan Fiction story to read? Well look no further! Each week we will post two or three of HPFT’s Featured Fics here for you to check out!!

This week's Featured Fics include our winner and runner up for the annual Staff Writing Challenge: Fic Feud. Fic Feud was our spring House Cup Event, and each story was co-authored and had to include several writing prompts and sabotages that were assigned by other players. There were six total entries, and these were the top two!!

#1: Featuring our First Place Winner: “A Rescue in Space and Time” by @pookha of Ravenclaw House & Levana (@galakticneville) of Hufflepuff House.

Story Summary: In a world of magic, the only thing you should expect is the unexpected. When Angelina and George attempt to save Fred, they learn this first-hand.

#2: Featuring our Runner-Up: “Mask of Truth” by Rumpelstiltskin (@rumples-tumbles) of Slytherin House & victoria_anne (@biancavictoria) of Hufflepuff House.

Story Summary: When Andromeda Black discovers her fiance is having an affair, the last thing she expects is that it would lead to a ball, a murder, and the beginning of a forbidden romance.
