Darius smiled as he came into Homegrown, spotting Meg sitting at the bar by herself. He reached into his bag and pulled out the book he had been meaning to get it to her, but he just hadn’t had a chance to catch up with her. “Hey Meg,” he greeted as he approached, not wanting to scare her. “Here’s the book I’ve been meaning to lend to you. How are you?” he asked as he slipped onto the stool next to her.

“This has been our favorite thing to do since the beginning,” Christian noted as he sat down at the counter of Bubbles with Meg. They had become fast friends when the two arrived to the area at the same time. Christian was also friendly with Meg’s older brother, Cooper, so it worked out well for him. It was nice to have friends in town. “You getting your usual?” he asked glancing over at her.
