Thank you, Karen, I do appreciate your heart being in the right place this time. But no, Tylenol cold and flu is not going to help my menstrual cramps any more than maxing out on Pamprin maximum strength. Because the main ingredient in both is 1000mg of acetaminophen. But the Pamprin has a diuretic and sth else, plus I alternate with straight ibuprofen.

Feb 4 - overslept, followed by lots of crocheting today. My blanket is getting big enough that it takes a rather long time to add even a single row (since I've been spiralling from the centre outwards, I count a row as going around all four sides).

For supper I combined leftover rice from yesterday with partridge in duck stock from the freezer, and steamed some squash and green beans to have with it.

Days by the Kinks has helped me so much accept the idea of things coming to an end. It's easy to hear this everywhere but as soon as you can word it in your head it becomes so obvious. Past doesn't exist anymore but you'll always have it with you, in your memory. So in that weird sense it's not forever gone. And soon you'll live a future so good you'll end up wishing it'll never end either. One thing at a time

Life will always go on and I'll keep a memory of everything buried deep in the palm of my hands so I can remember the joys and understand the pains as time goes by

I absolutely stan the people who got out of stereotypical "difficult" studies and went to study other subjects usually viewed as "easy" (i strongly disagree with the belief that maths & physics = difficult and human science, litterature & art = easy but it's a debate for another day) because you'll see shit like my buddy E who's a crack in economics lose his sanity over our Freud course. G can tell you the structure of any amino acid in your body but can't memorize the most important models of cognition. I know how an IRM works but I cannOT for the life of me understand what the difference between an ordinal and a numeric variable is
