This has been stewing and some part of me is still desiring to post it, so under a cut it goes.
One might think, after a year of friendship, 5 years of dating and 11 of marriage (so, a cumulative 17 years by my math), one would not have to remind their spouse of
a FOURTEEN INCH HEIGHT DIFFERENCE and
IF YOU PUT THE THINGS I USE DAILY AT THE BACK OF THE TOP SHELF I CAN NO LONGER REACH THEM independently,
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF FUCK PUT THEM TOWARDS THE FRONT WHERE THE REST OF THEM WERE STACKED WHEN YOU ADDED THE CLEAN ONES.
I know it doesn’t make sense to you that I ‘chose’ the top shelf for this stack of nesting items, but of the existing empty space available it was the path of least resistance. I would not, actually, choose the top shelf but I don’t want to reorganize the entire fucking kitchen for storing repurposed disposable deli meat containers.
Can you not just fucking remember that *your wife is short* and put the newly cleaned stack back with the previously washed ones at the front of the shelf. The cabinet door still shuts just fine.
