Feb-au-ary 3: Tadc Mlp au.

Draconequus Zooble popped into my head one night and the idea evolved from there.

Extra notes:

-Gangle, Zooble, Kinger and Jax all come from the same town. -Creatures have been going missing in the town including Ribbit and Kaufmo. -Caine is the current Mayor of the town. -Caine is also the character I have the least ideas for so suggestions are welcome. -Ragatha doesn't have a cutiemark. She was so focused on making her parents proud that she never earned it. This is why she always wears clothes. -the main ships for this au are Abstragedy and Ragapom (they keep staring at each other longingly in my sketches/art lol). We have a full yuri line-up. -I have an idea for Ribbit but I don't want to go ahead with it yet as I want to learn more about them first.

What if WPNZ was the newest member of the circus? This is Smg4: Circus Days: WPNZ From Reality.

Au rules:

okay, so I just made a little comic of this AU of my AU and I want more. I will be posting that comic on Valentine's day, along with a couple ship art pieces. So let's get into the rules, shall we?

#1: nothing else changes

The only difference is that wpnz is the newest member of the circus. The story also changes to where this AU sees fit.

#2: wpnz is now the main character

I think an AU explicitly from his perspective would be kinda cool. Especially when we will be having some drama later on once I finally get started on episode 9 of the base AU.

#3: WPNZ’s family and he never existed in the circus before he came along.

I kind of want his ex and his kids (mainly his ex) to be his drive to seek escapism.

Feb-au-ary 6 (kinda since the month is now over): Glamrock au.

The challenge is drawing to a close now, and one of the last au's is the Glamrock au by @palaanims, who has some amazing au's btw.

Honestly I feel like I blacked out for most of this drawing, haven't really done a grunge/glamrock aesthetic before but I really enjoyed myself!

Feb-au-ary 1: The amazing digital gala!

I was working on these in January but I was struggling, so now they are my first post for Feb-au-ary.

These 'The Amazing Digital Gala' au designs are by @madisaur. Their artstyle reminds me of storybook illustrations and I highly recommend checking them out!

Feb-au-ary 4: Princess Tutu, Howls moving castle au.

Princess Tutu is a show thats very close to my heart. Literally my favourite anime ever, so I combined it with one of my favourite movies ever. I have a couple notes and sketches but overall this au is mostly a story outline so there isn't much to actually share as I don't want to spoil the whole plot. Though I will say that whilst it is a Howls moving castle au I did change key aspects of the plot because I prefer making au's based on things rather than one to one remakes.

notes:

-Duck works at a point shoe cobbler/ballet shop instead of a hat shop. -Both Fakir and Mytho are a mix of Calcifer and Howl. Slight spoiler warning* Fakir is a wizard and Mytho is the fallen star, but Mytho is the one who people assume is the wizard as Fakir tends to stay at the castle and keeps it running with his magic. -Fakir and Mytho are bound together by a curse. -Rue is the witch of the waste. -Drosselmyere is the Madam Sullivan standin -Uzura is a combination of both Hein and Markle. For hopefully obvious reasons. -The famous flying scene is with Mytho. -Mytho is also the one who turns into a giant crow thing. -Fakir is the one who has to run hot water for his bath. -Duck still has the same dynamic with Fakir as in the show, slightly based on the actual sophie/howl dynamic in the novel. -Still a wip but I was thinking Duck could be cursed by Rue to turn into a duck at point (not all the time cos I still need the characters to talk lol, this is why its a wip.) -still don't know if I'll include actual Tutu yet.

Feb-au-ary 2: Taleblr Infinity Train au.

I've had this one for a couple years now, but I never really did much with it except the basic concept.

Basically GhostToast haven't seen each other in years after a nasty fight. They Both end up on the Infinity Train and even though they are still not together they share a number (Rymin style lol). They journey through the train, find each other and finally get some therapy! All the weird stuff that usually happens in venturiantale vids are basically what the train cars are like in this au.

Spooker is a denizen of the train and he is traveling with Colon who is a human. The Acachalla's are a mix of humans and denizens who have settled in one of the train cars and don't really plan on leaving the train.

Aaaaaand thats basically as far as I got, I had a few ideas for some angsty parts (doomed yaoi) but overall not much happened with this one (mainly because I was working on other au's and projects.)

Feb-au-ary 5: Pokespe manga Historical fantasy au.

This one is gonna be incredibly wordy so if you just want to see RYBG in cute historical fantasy fashion just skip past it lol

This au is practically my baby, I spent so much time working on it that its honestly become one of my main projects. tbh I don't even know how to begin to explain it.

lets start with the world itself: All the regions we know and love are counties in this world. All led by councils (mostly made up of the gym leaders, champions and professors, kinda like how they do it in the manga.) The Pokedex holders are sort of like an elite set of knights who are chosen by the council. Usually they are chosen for their ability to wield the powers of pokemon. Pokemon in this world do exist normally, but only someone who can forge a connection with a pokemon can use its power. The pokemon's powers are used to enhance weaponry, like magic.

Current plot: I am hoping to get to the other series' but for now I am focusing on the Yellow arc as she is my favourite character. Basically, Yellow is born in Veridian, a sort of smaller, forested country located within the Kanto borders. The country is still recovering from an attack from a exiled duke at this point and thus are extremely on edge. Yellow was born a child of the forest, a highly respected role to the people of Veridian as she was born with a variety of magical abilities. She meets Green, a Dame (note-I am going with the English version as that is the one I grew up with) who asks her for help in revealing a plot against the Kanto council. Yellow agrees and the two journey to the capital to uncover this conspiracy.

I think that's all I will say for now as I don't want this to be too overloading. I am sorry if none of that made sense lol, I accidentally made this one extremely complicated.

-Note that Yellow does still wear the outfit they originally wear in the manga, as it still suits the vibes I am going for, I just also designed a formal and casual wear for them.

Made these a couple years ago to varying degrees of success and I also don't have a good camera so excuse the quality. Will be redrawing at some point, but as of now as I am tired!

Feb-au-ary 7: The Finale

Its finally over, I have completed the challenge.

I am proud of how many I actually managed to get done this month (and two extra days lol). 7 au's total and 26 individual drawings overall, including the drawings outside of the challenge. I just had to draw extra concepts for my au's instead of just letting them be writing smh.

This whole thing was for me to improve my productivity and also to have fun, and I can say it was a resounding success! But now I am tired lol. I won't be stopping drawing as I still have a few projects to finish, and many of my main fandoms are reviving, but I will be slowing down for my own mental health.
