Dorothy O'Connell Kirwan, the owner of McSorley's Old Ale House, showed up early on February 17, 1954, for the saloon's 100th anniversary celebration. Since women were not allowed inside, bartender Frank McKenna handed her a mug of ale outside the door. (It was finally forced to admit women in 1970.) McSorley’s, at 15 East 7th St., remains New York’s oldest continuously operated saloon.

Fear
```Fear is a perception created by the mind in response to things a person cares about. They fear things when they want it the most. A job, a crush, making money for rent, money to eat, living. Fear the way i see it is F.E.A.R, False Evidence Appearing Real, or in other words “Whats the likelihood of “____” happening?”
I’m not scared of most things. If it’s my time to die, then its my time to die. America is slowly turning into hell hole, but I still don’t fear for myself. The main thing I fear is failing. I fear living pay check to pay check. I fear struggling. I fear dying and not living my life to the most. I hate the idea that I go through school for 12 years, go to college for another 6, then go into the workforce, start and family and that's it. I want to travel. I want to see the world. I want to meet new people. I want to open up a food truck. I want to fall in love early in life and have a partner that I can experience everything the world has to offer. I want to know that I did everything I could do in life and not regret anything.
I’ve seen people who just go through the motions, and they just seem like they are contempt with their way of living. That is not how I want to end up. At a dead end in life. At my current stage in life, I am stuck in an endless cycle of school and work, but once graduation comes along I will be free from the restrictions and shackles of school will be released and I can start doing what I really want in life.
