1. Huevos rancheros for dinner 🍳 yaaasss 2. awesome friends being awesome 3. caught a ton of Pokémon on my way to and from the library 4. somehow managed to find the fricken strength to update my parents on the crapfest that is my academic life right now and survived the conversation (and by that I mean that I didn’t work myself up and end up completely emotionally overwhelmed. I figured my parents would be supportive and they were, I was just afraid that I would lose all of my shit, I am after all my own worst enemy)

George Metesky, called the Mad Bomber, in a detention cell on February 19, 1957, at Brooklyn Criminal Court. Metesky terrorized New Yorkers for 16 years in the 1940s and 1950s by planting bombs in theaters, train terminals, libraries, and offices. He was found legally insane and committed to a state mental hospital.
