Another #letsmakeart tutorial Seashells from a few days ago. I might put a hold on my challenges as I've started doing commissions and have a bunch to paint. See my Facebook if you are interested. Last one for today. I'm doing #feb20marinebeing where I paint and letter a sea creature. RIP my eraser. Yes I carefully planned this all out which means I only ran out of room on one word and did a cut and paste on another because a jelly flush is not a thing but I wrote it all out anyway. Damn I'm a shaky letterer. We'll call it a style choice. I'm a lazy sketcher. I tend to choose stuff to paint I don't have to draw... and I wanna get better at drawing. Long story short I have been enjoying daily challenges and seeing real results from doing them. I want to letter, paint and sketch. So I'm making my own monthly challenges that are themed. First: there are only 26 items because I don't want to be a masochist. Second: I put check boxes because it was hard enough coming up with the list, never mind trying to put them in an order where I didn't draw sharks for a week. Third: the plan is to sketch, paint and letter one item a-dayish or so until I'm done. Preferably finishing before the end of February. Join me if you will. Adjust to your preferences.
