Not really an experiment, but I wanted to start sharing things every day. Like, blogging about my day? It probably won’t be every day, because I won’t be able to do as much when I go home for the weekends, because my family is weird and I feel like I have to socialize when I go home, because it doesn’t happen very much.
So, I think I’ll just tell you about my day so far.
Stardate: Sunday, February 28th, 2016
So far today has been good. I woke up at nine, then convinced my mom that I was going to chapel early (Confession - I didn’t go at all) Then the squad (Which happen to be my only friends up here at college) showed up at 11:30 and asked if I wanted to go for breakfast.
Who eats breakfast at 11:30? That’s brunch. Not breakfast. But I won’t tell anyone else how to live their life, because they aren’t me, and I can only control myself.
But anywho, we went to eat, and then went back to our rooms. Where I still am. Supper should come soon, then hopefully they’ll be done studying and we can play Mario.
Since you don’t know who the squad are, I’ll tell you a bit about them. I won’t say their actual names, because I don’t have their permission, and I’m not about that life.
First is Kris (That’s not his real name, I’m giving them all fake names). He’s the loudest one. He talked to me first out of the group, and he sort of pulled me in. I feel the most comfortable with him. Confession: I would date him if I had the chance, but he’s got a girlfriend, and I’m not a homewrecker, so I won’t go for that and we will remain amigos.
Next is Ben (Again, not his real name) He’s Kris’ roommate, and he thinks that I don’t like him. (Let me tell you now that I’m a very quiet person and I don’t talk to people very much right away, and I don’t know him as well as I know Kris, so I don’t talk to him as much and he thinks I don’t like him) I think that he is very visually appealing, and I would also like to date him. He also has a girlfriend, so that kills the dating thing.
Third is Nic. He’s absolutely adorable, and I want to give him a hug every time I see him. He’s not from America, I’m not sure where he’s from exactly, but he can speak lots of languages. He’s absolutely adorable. Did I mention that?
Then there’s James. He’s very tall, and slightly intimidating until you meet him. Then you realize that he’s very nice, and he makes me think of Drax the Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy. He’s sort of like him. I think that he wants to ask me out, but I’m not sure if I’m being conceited or he really likes me like that.
There’s Steve (Not his real name), who is a Marvel geek. It’s very refreshing to talk to someone who knows what I’m talking about and knows who the hell Bucky is. (Kris doesn’t, but he tries) He has very blue eyes, and I like them.
