It was the loss of the Force that really woke you up. It was something that you had lived with your entire life, surrounding yourself with it for years, and the sensation of losing that was a snap against your brain. It was the worst injury you had -- the aches and pains across your body let you know that -- but it felt like the most severe.
When you managed to open your eyes, there was nothing that you could see. It was just an empty cell -- three plain walls, one of which you were chained to, and the fourth was made entirely of bars. You could see nothing but the four walls of your cell and the blank wall across the barred window with your vantage point. The chains holding you in place were wrapped around your wrists, ankles, and waist with little slack given to you. They were glowing slightly and you suspected it was them that cut your connection from the Force.
You shook your head slightly and tried to focus past the headache forming in your temples and behind your eyes. You suspected a concussion -- which might explain the fact you couldn’t remember how you got here. The last thing that you remember was planning for the assault on...some planet with Kenobi and Skywalker.
Thinking of them sent another sharp pulse of pain lancing through your head. Taking a deep breath, you tilted your head back and relaxed. You needed to get your memories back and that meant pushing yourself a little harder than you should.
Kenobi, Skywalker, and yourself alone with your clone commanders and captain were planning for an assault on some planet...then you were hit? Something had knocked out the power to your battleship. Everyone sprung into action -- you were used to surprises like that happening. It was a group you recognized...something, someone bad. You had tangled with them years ago and barely managed to escape. They came back for you.
They did..something. They had something that knocked you out. It was quick and dirty. It was just flashes of lights and sounds. They managed to get around your troopers and through Kenobi and Skywalker’s guard to bring you aboard their ship.
A slap against your face brought you back into the present. Blinking your eyes open did nothing, covered as they were by something. That bothered you slightly, that someone could get close enough to you long enough to slip something over your head and then assault you.
The one hanging over did nothing but breathe deeply.
So you were surprised by both the alarm ringing out and the knife sliding into you smoothly.
