#febuwhump process

Even though my Febuwhump is over that doesn't mean that there wasn't ALOT of trial and error! I wanted to post all the semi done, semi colored, or just quick sketches, and scribbles of ideas!

Some had more thought than others but heres a giant sketch dump! (Explanation of each piece under cut vvv)

Day 7's extra had me thinking of what if the secret stones were pieces of asleep zelda in her amber form from skyward sword? Like the idea sounded cool as hell but then I began to think of how in the world the rest of the timeline would work if she never got free and had kids an stuff. Because the royal family line would never exist yknow. So the idea got scrapped in the end!

There's another scrapped semi colored piece depicting BotW Link's "collapse", we all know he died but yeah. Wanted to show all the scars and stuff but it got scrapped because I lost interest.

Alternate version for Day 2's holding back tears! Ultimately didn't like the feel of it so I scrapped it.

The rest are rough sketches and quick doodle of ideas that never happened! You can tell that some had more thought than others but yeah. This is all the extras I had left over from Febuwhump, just wanted to share a quick dip into my thought process!
